Does anyone know of any local outfit that could do an economy bottom end job on my Spitfire 1500? I cannot afford a new or big, engine rebuild but a change of bearings assuming the crank is OK would keep her running a bit longer. Other than start up rattle she is fine and uses no oil so with about 2k miles per year I reckon I would get a fair few years out of that! |
