Ah, the man in the old Austin van, (Dickie Hall) was responsible for a lot of people joining the club including me. I had an Austin 1300GT, in fact I still have it at the back of the garage. I had it new for my 18th birthday, (you can work out how old I am now). I used it as my everyday car until 1983 when it became a restoration project. Great little car and very unrated. |
