You've not said which car. Is the flasher unit definitely the right one? Truthfully there is not much variety in them, and bimetalic ones usually go slower not faster with age. Too fast implies too much current is being drawn, and again, its not that common as bad contacts would cause the reverse. Likewise, naughty wiring might blow the fuse! Left and right turn the same? If so, fault is something common between them. Other than check the unit against similar cars, and peruse the wiring diagram can't really say more at this stage. Martyn |
