As you will know the club was arranging visits to various places of interest for next year. The visit to BMH will now take place in November 2008 when MG bodyshells will be in production. The visit is now full but if there is sufficient interest we will arrange another visit for November. They are unlikely to be producing MG shell again for several month so contact Ann if you want a place. The visit to Cowley to see mini production at the BMW factory is also likely to take place in November 2008 but the date cannot be finalized until mid September so please book your place now. There is a charge of £8 for this visit. There seems to be very little interest in the coach trip to York to the National Railway Museum next April and if there is not more interest we will cancel this visit. If your not interested in the NRM there is also the Jorvik centre, York Dungeon and Yorkminsters & the Shambles within 5 mins walk. All trips can be booked with Ann. |
