Back on topic, the poll will only allow one classic, so I've entered the oldest!

1930 Super Sports Aero Morgan (you try getting a name like that past insurance companies today!).

1972 Morgan 4/4

Rebuilt both, the 4/4 in about 7 months, and the trike in about 7 years!

It's been to the Luton Festival of Transport that last 2 years, but I'm not a club member. Would be but for one problem, I'm all but deaf so going to the admittedly interesting talks is beyond me.

Could well be there next year.

You don't have to be a member to come along to one of our old vehicle meets at a local pub. They are a bit like mini Luton Festivals, just bring your car along. We normally manage about 60+ vehicles. The "Morgan Mafia" away have a fairly large presence at these meets.
The next one is on New Years Day at Grove Lock, Leighton Buzzard from 12 to 3.

I was actually at the Grove Lock last year, although in a modern, as I do know a few members. Oddly enough, pretty well all the Morgan Mafia!

Only just discovered the Chiltern Vehicle Preservation Group and this forum via a link from the MK Classic Car Club web site whose monthly meeting I have been attending for a while now.

Very interesting site. Might well bring one or the other of my TRs along to a meet or two in the summer. My TR7s are clearly not amongst the oldest cars represented here but I like to think of them as classics anyway. I've heard all the negative comments about TR7s before and it's all water off a ducks back to me ;)

Welcome Gordon.
Do bring one of your cars to one of our pub meets.
With over 350 members with a vast diversity of vehicles, everything from a 1904 Humberette to mid '90's BMW rally vehicles and buses and commercials in between, you can never tell what will appear at one of our meets but we normally attract 60+ vehicles, all of them of interest.
