This review is a little late this week. It usually takes me about 70-80 minutes to recap a show properly but for some reason I was just really sluggish this week and it took almost 2 and a half hours for me to get this done.

TNA is one a two show streak of good shows right now so let's see if they keep the momentum this week.

Hosts are Mike Teney and Don West

Michael Shane (0-2), Kid Kash (2-1) and Lance Hoyt (1-1) vs. Chris Sabin (2-2), Apolo (3-0) and Sonny Siaki (0-2)

Shane and Sabin start the match. Shane gets in the ropes to stall. Shane bails to the outside and there's now been a minute of stalling. Shane ducks a lockup and slaps Sabin. Shane runs away and tags Kash in. Hoyt argues with Shane on the outside. So finally about two minutes in some action starts. Kash charges into a drop toehold followed by Sabin appling a front facelock. Kash escapes and it's back and forth. Sabin hits a dropkick followed by an armdrag. Siaki tags in and Kash and Shane receive double armdrags. Siaki hits an armdrag and then works over the arm of Kash. Kash gets a face rake and then tags Shane in. Siaki hits Shane with a dropkick followed by a right hand. Shane comes off the ropes and kicks Siaki in the face. Siaki hits a nice looking variation on a slam for two. Siaki heads for the ropes but gets hit by Kash. Siaki hits Kash but gets floored by Hoyt. Hoyt tags in and punishes Siaki with punches. Hoyt hits a side slam for two.

Commercial Break

We're back as Hoyt misses a moonsault from the top rope. Wow, I didn't know he could do that. It was a nice looking moonsault too. Hot tag to Apolo. Sabin knocks Shane out of the ring as Apolo hits Kash with a sit-out powerbomb. Hoyt breaks up the pinfall. Apolo fights back and does some flipping on the ropes. That's pretty flashy for a guy that couldn't even hit a clothesline during the earlier taping. Apolo tries to throw Kash off the top rope but gets a sit-out powerbomb and frog splash at 8:29. Decent enough tv opener. It gets an extra 1/2* for the Hoyt moonsault attempt. Too much stalling as there was almost two minutes of Shane doing nothing at the start. *1/2

WINNERS: Michael Shane, Kid Kash and Lance Hoyt

Chris Candido Daggert come out. Candido is in a wheelchair and I guess they're using that to start a restraining order angle with Nash.

Commercial Break

Trinity, Traci and Michael Shane do a shill for Dusty's new book. Who cares.......

::turns around::

Oh yeah the nice man behind me with the gun said you should go over to Amazon.com and buy Dusty's Rhodes wonderful wonderful book. Did I mention it was wonderful?

Buy It Here

Petey Williams (1-1) and Al Ralphz (1-0) w/ Scott D'Amore vs. BG James (0-1) and Ron Killings (0-1)

Team Canada sneak attack to start the match. Double irish whips lead to James clotheslining Williams. Killings does a springboard dropkick off James and hits Ralphz. Williams gets double teamed. Things settle down and it's Williams and Killings in the ring. Williams tags Ralphz in. Ralphz charges into a drop toehold and Killings abuses him with punches. Killings hits a leg scissors and goes for the 10 punches in the corner. Williams pulls him off and Ralphz hits a clothesline. Williams tags in and plays to the crowd. Williams hits a snapmare followed by a dropkick. Williams covers for two. Ralphz tags in and hits Killings with forearms. Ralphz chokes Killings on the middle rope and D'Amore does the same behind the ref's back. Back and forth until Ralphz hits a spinebuster. Ralphz covers for two. Ralphz lifts Killings into a tree of woe. Williams comes in and gets thrown on a Canadian Destroyer attempt. Back and forth until Killings hits a flying forearm. Hot tag time as James destroys the heels. Williams bails to the outside and Ralphz eats the double team axe kick at 4:49. I know bashing 3 Live Kru is the cool thing to do right now but the team is extremely over and TNA would be insane to break them up. *

WINNERS: 3 Live Kru

Commercial Break

Elix Skipper joins the announce table and a copy of Rhodes wonderful wonderful book has comes out with him.

::feels tap on shoulder::

What do you want from me? I said it was wonderful. Ok fine....

Buy Dusty Rhode's book here

Mikey Batts (0-2) vs. Christopher Daniels (3-0)

Lockup and Batts gets a hammerlock. Daniels flips out and hits a snapmare. Daniels gets a single leg takedown followed by an armdrag. Batts fights back and it's back and forth. Batts hits an armdrag followed by a spin kick. Daniels tosses Batts onto the apron and avoids a sunset flip attempt. Daniels hits a tilt-o-whirl backbreaker and then plays to the crowd. Batts fights out of a headlock but gets an STO for his troubles. Daniels hits several knees and then tosses Batts into the corner. Batts fights back and hits a clothesline. Batts hits a forearm followed by a victory roll for two. Victory rolls always make me think of Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart from Wrestlemania X. Ref gets bumped and Batts hits the Batts Beater. No one in the crowd has a clue that Batts actually has a finisher. Batts covers and Skipper counts the three which Batts thinks matters for some reason. Skipper gets an enziguri and Batts gets the Angel's Wings at 3:47. That ending was really bad. 3/4*

WINNER: Christopher Daniels

Commercial Break

More infighting between the members of 3 Live Kru.

Eric Young (1-0) w/ Scott D'Amore vs. Konnan (0-1)

Konnan ducks a sneak attack and hits a clothesline in the corner. Konnan whips Young out of the ring and plays to the crowd. Young pulls Konnan out of the ring and gets punched. Konnan goes after D'Amore but gets hit by Young. D'Amore hits Konnan before rolling him into the ring. Young hits a snapmare followed by two elbow drops for one. Young chokes Konnan and then hits a hard irish whip into the corner. Young covers for two. Young chokes Konnan on the middle rope followed by D'Amore doing the same. Young with a bodyslam and then dives into a boot from Konnan. Konnan hits the rolling clothesline then charges into an elbow. Young gets tossed on a tornado DDT attempt and an odd pinfall exchange happens. Young gets a double leg takedown and covers with his legs on the ropes for two. Konnan hits a spinebuster followed by a razor's edge for the win at 3:39. Young should've won this match. 1/2*

WINNER: Konnan

Shane Douglas is with AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy backstage. They hype their matches for Lockdown. Hardy gets KOd by a trash can to the head thanks to Raven.

Commercial Break

Jeff Jarrett joins the announce table. Gee I bet he interferes in the main event by hitting someone with the guitar. Nash comes out but security swarms him.

the Outlaw (2-0) and Monty Brown vs. Diamond Dallas Page (1-1) and Sean Waltman (1-0)

Gunn and DDP start the match. Lockup and DDP ducks a shot in the corner. DDP with a hammerlock and shoulder strikes. Gunn avoids a Diamond Cutter attempt and DDP plays to the crowd. Lockup and DDP gets a headlock. Back and forth until DDP hits a clothesline. Waltman tags in but gets hit with an elbow. Brown tags in and throws Waltman out of the ring.

Commercial Break

We're back as Gunn has the advantage on DDP. DDP counters an irish whip and hits an elbow. Gunn whips DDP into the ropes where Brown hits him. DDP goes after Brown but gets a swinging neckbreaker from Gunn. Brown tags in and stomps DDP. Brown distracts the ref while Gunn chokes DDP on the bottom rope. Brown chokes DDP and then distracts the ref while Gunn does the same. Gunn tags in and hits a vertical suplex for two. Gunn rams DDP into Brown's boot. Brown tags in and hits several kidney punches. DDP tries to fight back but Brown is just too strong. DDP hits a jawbuster and hits a shoulder tackle. DDP collapses and headbutts Brown in the groin. DDP crawls to the corner and it's hot tag time. Waltman hits Gunn with two spin kicks followed by a dropkick. Waltman hits the X-Factor but Brown breaks up the pinfall. Brown poses and then gets a Diamond Cutter for his troubles. DDP gets a Fameasser. Gunn misses a charge on Waltman and then gets a Bronco Buster. Jarrett comes into the ring and hits Waltman with the guitar. I'm shocked shocked SHOCKED I tell you. Gunn covers for the win at 9:23. This ended up being better than I was expecting. The tag forumla really saved them here. **

WINNERS: the Outlaw and Monty Brown

A brawl ends the show this week.

Overall:
I think this show barely makes it as a thumbs up. Nothing was great but at least they kept it mostly in the ring this week.

I don't have too much problems with Killings and BG as a tag-team. It just sucks to me that Ron isn't in the world title hunt. I really thiought they were on the verge of something with him. I wouldn't even mind him being a part of the 3LK stable, iof they'd just push the guy.

I think he should be the singles star of the group while Konnan and James are the tag team. Though I think Killings and James make a pretty good tag team.

It just seems though when you watch them that Killings is SO out of place. He's not as good of a talker than BG or Konnan, but he's way better than either of them in the ring. I just wish they would use Killings a little more to their own advantage.....you know, have him go for titles and such.

You know though, as the serious character, as thought his strongest point was his mic work. He's nearly the complete package....and they're doing nothing with him.

Mad Dog, I think I'd be more inclined to believ your ratings.

I'd like to add that I was stunned when Hoyt went for the moonsault in the opener

I think Killings holds up well against Konnan but he's light years behind James. But I think TNA makes it obvious that Killings is the star of the group.

To be fair, James is one of the better promos around. I think he'd make a fantastic color commentator.

Well Dave tends to blow his load for a lot of shit. I would agree with WMD in that I would believe your ratings before his.

By the way.....I was also shocked at the moonsault by Hoyt. He's not that good, but at least he's trying......

The crowd seemed to love Hoyt for some reason.

I don't know if it's Meltz recapping, it might be one of his stooges. That's just what gets put up on his site.

Well, even if it is one of his stooges....he presents the ratings on his site/newsletter so he must be trusting of them.
