Evan Karagas never seemed to get a break. He was hired by WCW, not used, became part of 3-Count, got hired by the WWE, and was released after not being used for 9 months.

In fairness, he did suck really bad.

I miss the Tank Abbott/3-Count angle. That used to crack me up everytime when he'd scream at them to dance.

My god, someone actually liked/misses Kronik. That is re-goddam-diculous.

And Karagious was just HORRIBLE but for some reason came off as entertaining. I don't have a fuckin clue why. But I liked the guy.

The last time I saw Karagias, he was stinking up the ring in XPW. In other words, he was one of the more talented workers in that company.

Another favorite Norman Smiley moment was when he fell into the Demon's casket and came out as Screamin Demon Smiley.

Glacier.

It's one thing to love the thing when you're 13 years old - its another to watch it these days and realise how far ahead of its time it was. The entrance was GOLD. Ray Lloyd was a decent worker and i bet if the WWE had him today - he'd be retolled to a more ufc-ish moveset

Dude, I loved everything with Glacier, The Cat, Mortis, and Wrath. I remember Mortis and Wrath breaking out some sweer doubleteam moves. And I was such a mark for Glacier on NWO/WCW World Tour, or one of those games, cause his superkick was fuckin lethal.

Time to dangle a carrot for you guys.... I watched Slamboree 1997 this weekend. Have a review coming up. FIrst time I had watched the show since 97, too. Some weird matches on the card, so stick around fans... it'll be the Biggest Review in the History of Our Sport!

Booker's comment was the previous show, Spring Stampede, I think.. had a main event of Luger and the Giant vs. Harlem Heat, where the winner got a World Title shot. (Just imagine if STEVIE RAY had won?! ) .

Slamboree 97 Card:
TV Title: Ultimate Dragon (yes, ULTIMATE) vs. Steven Regal
Madusa vs. Luna Vachon
Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs. Yuji Yasuraoka
Glacier vs. Mortis
US Title: Dean Malenko vs. Jeff Jarrett
DEATH MATCH: Chris Benoit vs. MENG
Steiner Brothers vs. Hugh Morrus & Konnan
Reggie White vs. Steve "Mongo" McMichael
Super Match of the Evening (tm, Michael Buffer):
Ric Flair, Roddy Piper & Kevin Greene vs. Syxx, Kevin Nash & Scott Hall.

Hey now.. I requested this tape because it HAD Reggie White and Kevin Greene!

Oh yeah, and a few Mean Gene Hotline plugs!
