NWA:PTL © Saturday Night Mayhem ©

The lights inside the building turn on, and start to flicker. Huge amounts of pyrotechnics explode as the NWA:PTL announcers Joey Styles and Mike Tenay welcome you to the inaugural NWA:PTL television show.

The NWA:PTL Owner, CEO, head booker, and one hell of a bad ass,

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/sea...SUPERDRAGON.jpg

comes to the ring, with microphone already in hand. “Welcome ladies and gentlemen in attendance, and those of you watching around the world, welcome to NWA:PTL. Before I start, allow me to introduce myself, for those of you who do not already know who I am, I’m the Super Dragon. I’m a head dropping, double foot stomping, psycho driving son of a bitch. So, don’t cross me, or I’ll spike you on top of your head. Now then, let’s get down to business. Since the collapse of the World Wrestling Entertainment, NWA:TNA, and Ring of Honor, and along with all of the other wrestling companies, due to being bought out by the recently wealthy National Wrestling Alliance, and the NWA board of directors deciding to open up several territories, such as this one. The VIPS needed a hardcore, bad ass, yet cool owner to take up the Florida project. Well, the moral of the story is simple, I am that man ! I’m still pissed about having to move from California though. But, that’s another story, for another time. Let’s get right down to business, tonight is the first showing of NWA: Pushing the Limits. And, I promise to deliver some awesome action tonight, it’ll make you come back next week, or make sure to be home early on Saturday to watch my show. Tonight, we will have a four way tag team elimination to determine the NEW Tag Team champions of the NWA:PTL, as well as a thirty man, over the top rope battle royal to determine the NEW Heavyweight champion. You’ll be seeing wrestlers like Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels, Rob Van Dam, the Necro Butcher, MNM, and many, many others. Hell, you’ll be lucky enough to see yours truly in singles action tonight, and then participate in the battle royal. Don’t worry folks, I’m no Vince McMahon. Enough said. Peace.”

Gary Michael Cappetta is mid ring to introduce the first match:

“Weighing in at a combined weight of three hundred sixty seven and one half pounds, from Havana, Cuba, the Havana Pitbulls.”

“Coming to the ring next, two of the youngest, and brightest superstars coming through the ranks today, weighing in at a combined weight of four hundred forty six pounds, and hailing from Canada, the Stampede Bulldogs.”

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/sea...EDEBULLDOGS.jpg

“Next, we have the tag team responsible for rejuvenating the tag team scene in the new millennium, weighing in at three hundred eight pounds, and being accompanied by Cheerleader Melissa, MNM.”

“Last, but certainly not least, we have a tag team that reinvented tag team wrestling in the 1990’s, and early 2000 / 2001. They are solely responsible for the outburst of tag team ladder matches, weighing in at a combined four hundred forty pounds, ladies and gentlemen make some noise, the HARDY BOYZ !”

Match #1
Tag Team, Elimination for the Tag Team championships
Havana Pitbulls vs. Stampede Bulldogs vs. MNM w/ Cheerleader Melissa vs. the Hardy Boyz

• A action packed, high intensity match-up. The Bulldogs and Pitbulls focused on each other throughout the entire match, and even after being eliminated. MNM and the Hardy’s were a natural clash.
• The Pitbulls were eliminated first by the Bulldogs, after an impressive maneuver by TJ Wilson hit the Code Blue on Ricky Reyes from the top rope onto Rocky Romero for the pin, and the elimination.
• The Bulldogs were eliminated four minutes later after TJ Wilson sustains the snapshot after the Pitbulls pushed him off the top rope.
• After the Bulldogs elimination, they brawled with the Pitbulls to the backstage area, road agents and security eventually separated the two angry tag teams.
• MNM and the Hardy Boyz wrestled for another nine minutes after the Bulldogs elimination.
• They played to their strengths well, the road agents all agree that they work very well together.
• In the end, the Hardy’s experience is just too much for the much younger team, and they succumb to the Falling Fate.
• Matt Hardy hits the Twist of Fate on both Johnny Nitro and Joey Mercury, allowing his younger brother Jeff to vault himself from the top rope with the swanton bomb on both members of MNM for the win.
• Winners, and NEW Tag Team champions: The Hardy Boyz

“Medal” sounds, and the Olympic Gold Medalist Kurt Angle makes his way down to the ring. Kurt poses for a few seconds in mid ring, and soaks up the cheers and the “You Suck” chants. Kurt grabs a mic: “I sure miss that. It motivates me to prove you all wrong, each and every night. I DO NOT SUCK. I am the ONLY Olympic Gold medal winner in the history of professional wrestling. I am a multiple time WWF and WWE World Heavyweight champion, I was the WCW World Heavyweight champion, the Intercontinental champion, European champion, Euro-continental champion, tag team champion, hardcore champion, King of the Ring, I’ve made them all tap out. I am the greatest professional wrestler alive today, or any day. That’s right. Lou Thesz couldn’t hold a candle to me, either could Hulk Hogan, Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, the Rock, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, no one. I am the best, and you all know it ! And, you will show me the respect I deserve god dammit. And just to prove how great I am, I am guaranteeing victory tonight in the thirty man, over the top rope battle royal. Since I never won the Royal Rumble before, I guess this will have to do.”

Dragon has a microphone already, “Hey Sky, long time no see, friend. We’ve had some battles through the years, so let’s not disappoint tonight, bitch.”

Match #2
Single, one fall to finish
Super Dragon vs. Scorpio Sky

• A really high flying, and still match up.
• Scorpio Sky tries to use his expert aerial skills on Dragon, but after Gragon clips Sky’s knee, he no longer flies, and his fate is sealed.
• Dragon squashed Sky with a series of painful moves (Turnbuckle Powerbomb, Discus Lariat, Dragon Bomb, Phoenix Press)
• Dragon finished off the already beaten Sky with a sick Psycho Driver 2000.

Are backstage, being interviewed by Lillian Garcia.

Lillian - “Congratulations on your tag team victory, and title win, guys !”

Matt - “Thanks Lillian. We’ve worked hard to get back to where we were a few years back, it hasn’t been easy, but the Hardy Boyz always take everything to the extreme. And we did that tonight, and look who’s the tag team champions !”

Jeff - “Yeah. Team Extreme is back together, and better than ever. Were the best tag team six years ago, and were the best tag team today. It says something when a team breaks up, has a long and extended hiatus, and their first match back together they outlast three other full time and active tag teams and win the tag team straps.”

Lillian - “What are your plans now ?”

Matt - “Well, Lillian, since you asked, I’ll tell you what the Hardy Boyz plans are. We will continue to win tag team matches, defend this titles are over the place, and keep on keeping on being the best tag team today. But, we have plans for tonight.”

Jeff - “Both of us have been entered into the thirty man, over the top rope battle royal to determine the new NWA:PTL Heavyweight champion. Well, don’t be surprised if one of us ends up winning. It’s been a long time coming that a Hardy Boy is a Heavyweight champion.”

http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/sea...y/FITFINLAY.jpg

Match #3
Single, one fall to finish
Fit Finlay vs. Necro Butcher

• As stiff as you’d expect. Full force chops, kicks, and punches were thrown the entire contest.
• Even though Finlay is sixteen years senior to Butcher, he kept up and pummeled the Butcher.
• Necro managed to get the Asiatic Spike on Finlay, but Finlay dumped Necro on top of his skull with a death valley driver.
• Finlay went for the tombstone piledriver, but Necro slipped out and connected with a punch to the face, breaking Finlay’s nose !
• Finlay, now bloody, and super angry, brought a flurry of stiff offense to Necro.
• Necro went for a chokeslam, but Finlay head bunted his way out of hit and pulled off the tombstone piledriver for a near fall.
• Finlay, now frustrated started kicking Necro in the face, bloodying Necro, badly.
• Finlay finished the near unconscious Necro off with the Emerald Frusion.

The original showstopper, and Mr. WrestleMania

comes out to the ring, mic already in hand.

“Well, well, well. The Heartbreak Kid is here. It’s been a long time coming, but I will once again be the Heavyweight champion of a wrestling company. Tonight, I have to outlast, and survive thirty other men. I’ve done it before. Oh yeah, I’ve done it twice. Back to back as well. This will just be another challenge that I will overcome, and it will just add to my already hall of fame resume. I have a few goals for the battle royal. One, win. Two, prove that I am still the showstopper, and the only main event here. Three, kick Kurt Angle’s you know what. I am so sick of his mouth. I beat him in the WWE, and I’ll do it again tonight, when I superkick him over the top rope.”

Nice show. Good decision to start with Angle (as a heel?) as your first champ. It was very ambitious of you to attempt play by play for the entire Rumble match (which was confusedly called a Battle Royal the entire time) but would have been a much easier read with entry #'s, and maybe sidebars of (Hardy eliminated by Angle) or something like that. The main event was kind of a tough read for that reason.

Everything else was a very easy read and a nice start to your territory. I look forward to see where you go with everything from here.

One other thing I'll mention nicely, since I think people might call you on it and try to be dicks about it, is your match times. I believe we have a 1 hour show, and obviously you are well over an hour of in-ring time alone. It was for this reason I just left match times off of my report, because I knew it wouldn't fit.

Honestly, it doesn't bother me. I mean, we're doing a simulation here. I love seeing match times, as it adds something to the visualization. So well done.

Thanks for the feedback.

Yes, Angle is heel, he's playing the serious heel, not the goofy comedic heel.

I was going to put much more detail into the battle royal, but I was being pressed by time, and I didn't want to not have the show up in time. I know it's a royal rumble, but I don't want to call it that, that's WWF shit. I just couldn't come up with anything clever enough for a name.

The show is in a two hour time slot, so it's two hours long, correct ?

I'd sure like it to be 2 hours long. I don't know what in me assumed it was 1 hour. If it is indeed 2 hours (which, fuck it, it is now) then your match times were spot on.

Oh, and I thought of something to add. I like all the pictures of your stars, even if they didn't load effectively or what not. You have alot of young indy guys that I'm not familiar with, and it really helps the visualiztion to at least see who they are.

NWA:PTL © Saturday Night Mayhem ©

Joey Styles and Mike Tenay introduce the opening of the show, talking about various highlights of last week’s first showing.

“Medal” comes on over the PA system and the reigning NWA:PTL Heavyweight champion http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f363/sea.../KURTANGLE1.jpg comes out to the ring with the NWA:PTL Heavyweight championship over his shoulder. Angle struts to the ring, showing how proud he is to be once again a Heavyweight champion. Angle gets into the ring and gets a microphone handed to him by Jillian Garcia. “Thank you Jillian, you are looking great tonight. Last week you all witnessed a miracle inside of this ring. I, Kurt Angle, your Olympic hero defeated twenty nine other NWA:PTL superstars to win the NWA:PTL Heavyweight championship. My list of accomplishments keeps getting larger, and larger. Seriously, I’ve had to make a whole new trophy room in my house. It’s getting ridiculous. That wasn’t the only miracle that happened last week. There was someone trying his hardest to eliminate yours truly. Well, just like usual, he failed. He’s a failure, a loser, and a has been. That’s right I’m talking about Shawn Michaels. I beat his ass in the WWE, and I’ll do it in the NWA:PTL. I almost broke him last week after I belly to belly suplexed him over the top rope. And I’ll do it again.” Shawn Michaels’ music interrupts Angle. Michaels comes down to the ring with a microphone already in hand. “I see you’re running that big mouth of yours again Kurt. Some things never change. But some things get very old, and some don’t, like me kicking your ass all over this building ! You see Kurt, the way I see it, and I know the fans see it. You and I are the biggest names in this promotion, and they want to see Angle and Michaels tear it up again. And while we’re at it champ, how about you put that big gold belt up for grabs, the Showstopper wants some gold around his waist.” Before Angle could respond Bryan Danielson makes his entrance on the stage, and walks to the ring. Danielson snatches the microphone out of Michaels’ hands. “Kurt, before you answer that challenge, let me remind you that Michaels was eliminated way before I was. In fact, I was the last to be eliminated, and by virtue, that makes me the number one contender, not him. I find it funny Shawn that you brought up being old. Look at yourself. You’re a shell of your former self, getting wrinkles on that boyish face of yours, and your hair weave is ridiculous. You’re a has been Shawn. I know it. Kurt knows it. The fans know it. And through your arrogance and pride, you know it too. Why don’t you do us all a favor, and take your overrated, over paid, underperforming ass out of the ring before I kick you out of it.” Michaels takes his jacket off and drops it on the mat and charges Danielson. Danielson and Michaels are exchanging fisticuffs, Angle slides out of the ring and walks away. Security and road agents run out and separate Michaels and Danielson.

Bryan Danielson is backstage with a medical trainer looking at his knee. His leg was bleeding, caused by the suplex to the floor by Angle earlier. Danielson looks into the camera and says “That was ridiculous. First, I’m cheated of a victory by Michaels. Okay man, you had to low blow me ? Come on now. I thought you were the showstopper, the main event, Mr. WrestleMania. No, you know what you are ? A HAS BEEN. You’re past your prime old man, and you don’t want to start a war with me. You are well aware of what I am capable. Remember Shawn, you are responsible for my training. And just like Darth Vader said “You were once the Master, but now I am the Master.” Why don’t you just retire already, and stay retired, don’t be like Foley and Funk. You’re an embarrassment to professional wrestling, to the NWA:PTL, your family, and your friends. I mean come on Shawn, you’re forty one years old and you’re still dancing around like a homosexual stripper. It’s not 1995 anymore. And as far as Angle goes, you got me tonight champ. But rest assured, I’ll get my revenge soon enough.”

They also said they were going to be bringing someone else in to help them with all of their affairs in the future, and they’re bringing out something from the Hardy Boyz’ pasts that has always haunted them.

I don't know who said it was ****. It was a 90 Match Quality, sure. You can use whatever scale you want, but if you're attempting to use the scale I listed, you are going by the wrong number. The * rating comes from the Overall, which is a mix of Crowd and Match Quality.

Your impressive looking **** and ****1/4 matches are actually very nice TV matches of **1/2 and **1.2, much more realistic.

Nice show though, I enjoyed it. The mix between Danielson and Michaels is interesting, but I'm not sure if Danielson is playing face or heel here? Oh, and isn't is LILLIAN Garcia? Interested in seeing who MNM is bringing in here, as the options are quite endless.

The star ratings were probably from who was reviewing his show in the game. Most likely the Dames

I'm too hefty for my slacks. The zippers off it's tracks. I've stretched it to the maa-a-a-a-x.
