I can't stand Moore, my reason for actually liking him being in the new ECW was that I didn't have to see him in TNA anymore.......and I actually still care about TNA.

Oh yeah, who could forget his TNA run. Moore gave AJ Styles his worst match in recent memory.

Shannon Moore is rediculous. His whole gimmick is annoying, even more so because he has said in interviews that he thinks the store Hot Topic is an expansion of his personality.

Wow...that's Eddie-Vedder-Picture-in-Your-Wallet levels of GAYYYYYYYYY.

Oh, and Moore was in TNA? Hmm..I don't recall that. But I do recall a similar wrestler with a mohawk named "Prince of Punk". I think he'd be a good tag partner for Moore.

Battle of the Punks: Prince of Punk vs. CM Punk

The winner gets to keep the moniker "Punk".

OK - this is where I come-in and actually defend Moore, for whatever reason. Well, not defend him so much, but to at least say that because Moore is bland on the mic, this gimmick at least let's him stand-out in some way. Moore is an okay wrestler, so he is going to have to rely on a gimmick to get him and keep him over; and sadly, "The Reject" is the best for him right now. Strike that. The Reject is the best gimmick for him right now; you might as well strike "sadly". And if it is true that Hot Topic is an expansion of his personality, then this is the right gimmick for him. If he had any other gimmick, he just was suck at it. At least this way he has to develop on who he is already, so in that aspect, something was done right.

It's just that Moore isn't that amazing. If anything, WWE wanted Moore to keep him away from TNA.

I'll admit it, I liked Moore when he was in WCW and his early days on Smackdown, but this has become just too much for me.

As part of 3 Count and a lackey of Mattitude?

Actually, that was Shannon Moore.

Whoa, whoa, whoa...whooaaaaa there, skipper! You mean Shannon Moore was actually "Prince of Punk"?! Golly..next thing you'll tell me that IRS was really Mike Rotundo! Steady, steady...this old man can only take so many blows to his blood pressure.

-Okay, ECW was an improvement this week..simply on the fact that they had about five matches. But look at who they've collected: Matt Striker, Rene Dupree, Hardcore Holly and Test. It's the HEAT inVasion!

-This week, Shannon Moore told us that "the system...is opressive". Wasn't he in a subway? So he's pissed off at those damn turnstiles?! Fight the system! Rage against the machine! Hall against your Oates! Steal pennies from the penny jar!

-I thought Anderson was actually the highlight of THAT match.

-BIG middle finger to those assholes promoting the "World Trade Center Collector Coin", made with "real ashes recovered from ground zero". That's just fucking sick. $29.95 (plus S&H)...and they're giving FIVE bucks to an ambigious "charity for victims".

-"The Marine" is a movie that'll be in theatres?! I was reminded of the Sting/Daisy Fuentes movie for some reason....which was on TNT. Does this mean a Cena angle involving "October 11..don't say that date" is imminent?!

-Logic in Wrestling states that, if a second referee ran into the ring becasue he saw what was going on...that he'd immediately DQ Sabu for using the chair, since he saw that, too. BUT, I figured out a logical explanation: a second ref's "referee powers" don't actually activate until he hits the ring. Seriously. For a ref to influence a match, he must first be IN the ring. I can buy that.

-Saw a baseball promo while flipping around. Showed highlights of last season and Albert Pujols, who pointed to the sky, ala SABU. Yeah, yeah, I know Pujols doesn't do it cuz' of Sabu, but now I have even more reason to do that move (Jeff Hostetler used to do it after Tim Brown would catch a TD on a poorly thrown ball).

Well ECW was rather lackluster last night. I also like how they apparently quit acknowledging that RVD beat Sabu's ass during his return as well.

3 Count was funny stuff. And while Moore was good in his role as Matt Hardy's man servant, there was a brief time before that where Moore's gimmick was a cruiserweight who could hang with the best in the division. He was tagging with The Hurricane against Jamie Noble and Nunzio in a short series of exciting matches before they decided that he would do better as a jobber.

It may not have been amazing, but it wasn't bad overall. I got to see a fantasy match of Richards/Punk, although we all knew the ending; but, at least Richards got some offense in. Show destroying Sabu week-after-week has been a highlight for me.

I never thought I would hear the works Punk/Richards and fantasy match in a sentence.

Punk is the only reason I'm watching ECW right now. They totally lost me with the whole Sabu vs. Heyman/Big Show thing.

Hardcore Holly? Seriously? Rene Dupree? Really? C'mon now.
yeah, i'm alive.

I actually don't mind Holly being there. At least now we can look forward to a backstage fight between him and some drunken ECW original.

He's still "Hardcore" Holly, so he fits-in to me. That, and he's probably there to stiff the the younger guys if Dreamer doesn't.
