Bad move on their part I think. I don't think the fans will take him seriously as champ. Thought Akiyama wasn't setting the world on fire with his reign either. |

Eh, it's no different than Rey's reign. So, Danielson's pinned Marufuji, does that mean the ROH Title means more than NOAH's belt? |

No, at this point the RoH belt means less than the NWA World Title. It's a little different as the Japanese have never taken a junior seriously on the top. I think it could blow up in their faces but I don't expect a long reign either. |

HOLY FUCK I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS HAPPENED. This shit is Japanese Wrestling history. It's a smart idea though for NOAH to put him on top as he has a really big female following and they can really play him up as the babyface that gets his ass handed to him by the bigger guys yet still finds a way to win. I will also say that it'll make or break him as a star though.... |
