NWA Saturday Night: Los Vipers d. Los Barrio Boys The Barrio Boys got quick double victory rolls to take the first fall. Smelling blood in the water they double teamed Histeria II after tossing Psicosis to the outside. They hit a double vertical suplex. A misque saw Billy Boy hitting Alan with a forearm. Histeria caught Alan with a crossface for the submission. Psicosis speared Billy Boy to get the pin and take the second fall. The third fall started off with Psicosis hitting a DDT on Alan and hitting a guillotine leg drop for the pinfall. Histeria grabbed Billy Boy and they hit a Doomsday Device to win the match. ***1/2 70/46/95 Joey Styles: This Sunday was a big night for NWA: Mexico as a new champion was crowned. Please welcome PERRO AGUAYO JR. ::The crowd explodes as the new Mexican National Champion walks down to the ring. Aguayo grabs the mic:: Aguayo: It still feels like a dream at certain times. I started out here as just a middle of the show kind of guy. I was an up and comer. But over the months I slowly climbed the ranks. Once Ultimo Guerrero was out of my way I could finally focus on the top prize here. El Hijo Del Santo is a true legend in Mexico... but his time is over. It's time for a new era in NWA: Mexico and I plan to usher it in. ::Just then Juventud Guerrera's music hits and he walks down to the ring with a beer bottle:: Guerrera: Enjoy that title while you can kid. I've got a No.1 Contenders match with El Hijo Del Santo in the main event tonight. After I beat him I'm coming for you and that title. ::Aguayo and Guerrera have a staredown. Aguayo goes to get out of the ring when Guerrera leaps into action and smashes the beer bottle over Aguayo's head.:: Acero Dorado d. Donovan Morgan Dorado catches Morgan with a dropkick and then rolls him up to take the first fall. Morgan slowed things down by working a side headlock during the second fall. Dorado just couldn't stay out of the hold for long. Dorado escaped with an armdrag but Morgan caught him with a german suplex with a bridge for the pin. Dorado had to shake out the cobwebs to save the match for himself. Morgan went for a piledriver but Dorado turned it into a pinfall and stunned the crowd as he picked up another win. **** 84/74/94 Abismo Negro and Cibernetico d. Dos Caras Jr. and La Parka II Parka and Negro brawled all over the ringside area. Dos Caras Jr. tried to get a german suplex on Cibernetico who blocked it with a low blow. Cibernetico hit a backbreaker and then a frogsplash to get the pin. He went on the outside and they rammed Parka into the ringpost. Back in the ring as they hit a double suplex on Parka and then pin him to end the first fall. Negro and Cibernetico continued the punishment but were caught by surprise inside cradles to tie things up. Cibernetico quickly submitted Dos Caras Jr. with a swinging surfboard and Negro pinned Parka after a bulldog. **3/4 70/65/76 L.A. Par-K d. Dr. Wagner Jr. Par-K ambushed the Dr. as he made his entrance. They brawled on the stage and slowly brawled their way into the ring. Par-K hit a DVD and took the first fall. The brawling continued as the second fall started. Par-K crashed into the ringpost on a missed stinger splash and Wagner pinned him with his feet on the ropes for help. The third fall saw Wagner DQd as Fuerza Guerrera, Abismo Negro and Cibernetico rushed the ring. They savagely beat Par-K. La Parka II, Dos Caras Jr., Super Calo and El Zorro tried to make the save but Wagner and company beat them down. Wagner grabbed the house mic and announced this is La Familia. *** 79/81/77 Mexico's Most Wanted d. Averno and Mephisto This one broke down almost immediately. Damian was bleeding buckets after a hard shot into the ringpost. Averno and Mephisto hit a 3-D on Halloween and Averno submitted Damian with a Gory Special. The ref tried but failed to get this to look like a tag. Just a huge brawl in the ring. Halloween speared Averno for the pin and Damian applied the dragon sleeper for the submission on Mephisto. MMW broke out an insane string of double team moves on Averno before finishing him off with a Hart Attack. Damian caught Mephisto with a low blow and finished him off with a diamond cutter to give MMW the win. ****1/4 83/69/97 ::Shocker is backstage:: Shocker: It's good to be back in Mexico. The Shocker is here and still 1000% Guapo. I'm throwing out an open challenge for next week. Beat me if you can. Main Event: No. 1 Conteder Match: Juventud Guerrera d. El Hijo Del Santo Lock up and Santo tosses Juvy into the corner. They lock up again and Juvy spins around and gets a drop toe hold. Juvy quickly grabs a headlock. Santo starts to power out by Juvy uses the mask to leverage him down. Santo manages to stand and elbows his way out the move. Santo hits the ropes but Juvy catches him with a knee. Juvy drops a knee and covers for two. Juvy hits a suplex and covers for two. Juvy climbs to the top and goes for the 450 splash but Santo moves. NEW Saturday Night September 16th 2006 D'Lo Brown and the Basham Brothers defeated NEW Tag Team Champions Jushin Liger and Tajiri, and Andrew Martin at 5:35. D'Lo picked up a bit of an upset victory by pinning Luger after the Lo Down. 79/76/83 -Mick Foley returned from injury and cut a promo in the ring, attacking Tommy Dreamer for his alliance with Sonny Siaki. "You're coming off of the biggest victory of your career by beating me, and now you're Siaki's toadie?!?" Foley is outraged and demands answers. Siaki cuts Foley off by saying that Siaki is the top dog in NEW, and that Dreamer is honored to be taking on Rhino at Manchester Mayhem for him. This brings out Eric Bischoff, who makes Foley and Rhino vs. Siaki and Dreamer tonight's main event. (85%) Boston Harbor Champion James Gibson defeated Kid Kash at 8:30 to retain the title. This was announced to be Kash's last chance at the belt as long as Gibson holds it. Ron Killings, Gibson's opponent at Manchester Mayhem, did commentary during the match. After the match, Killings entered the ring and asked to shake hands with Gibson. Gibson was suspicious and left the ring instead. This left Killings fuming. 84/82/87 -Backstage, Rey Mysterio cut a promo venting his frustrations over his loss to JBL last week. Mysterio says that he doesn't care that JBL is going to be the referee for his NEW title shot at Chris Jericho at Manchester Mayhem, Mysterio is walking out of Manchester with the NEW title, and JBL won't be able to stop him. (77%) Chris Hero, Frankie Kazarian, and Matt Sydal defeated Chris Sabin, Johnny Devine, and Carlito at 6:44. Kazarian was able to isolate Devine and rolled him up for the victory. Afterwards, the other PTL guys, Kevin Steen and Adam Pearce, flooded into the ring for a beat-down. Brian Kendrick and Jerrelle Clark made the save, and threats were exchanged. 66/50/83 -Chris Jericho came out to the ring and cut a frustrated promo. He feels like even though he's getting to main event a pay-per-view without The Rock there to undermine him, now he feels like he's being left out again. Jericho is furious that all the attention is on Rey Mysterio, and on JBL being the referee. Everyone is wondering if Mysterio can overcome JBL, and NOT Jericho! JBL comes out to the ring and gets in Jericho's face. JBL says that he doesn't want to see the NEW title go to Mysterio, but lately he doesn't really want to see it on Jericho either. They stare intensely at each other, when President Rowe gets up from his commentary desk and makes Jericho vs. JBL vs. Mysterio, non-title, next week. Rob Van Dam defeated Sonjay Dutt at 4:15 in a short, but very good match. After the match, Team 3D ran in to try and take RVD out with a ladder, angered that RVD is still calling himself "Rob Van Dudley." Edge makes the save, and spears Brother Ray into a ladder. Team 3D is layed out once more. 79/71/87 Mick Foley and Rhino defeated Tommy Dreamer and Sonny Siaki by disqualification when Dreamer busted Foley over the head with a kendo stick at 10:45. A brawl resulted with Rhino and Dreamer brawling up the entrance ramp, leaving Siaki and Foley in the ring. Foley pulled out Mr. Socko and made Siaki pass out with the mandible claw! By the way, it's official, Mick Foley will take on Sonny Siaki at Manchester Mayhem! 84/87/79 Overall: 81 We got a 2.12 rating for 'NEW Saturday Night!'! The attendance level was 7738 people. We made $232140 from ticket sales. Current Manchester Mayhem card: NEW Championship: Chris Jericho © vs. Rey Mysterio Guest referee: John Bradshaw Layfield Boston Harbor Championship: James Gibson © vs. Ron Killings Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match: Team 3D vs. Rob Van Dam and Edge 10 Man Tag (PTL needs to win to get contracts): Chris Hero, Frankie Kazarian, Matt Sydal, Adam Pearce, and Kevin Steen vs. Carlito, Chris Sabin, Johnny Devine, Brian Kendrick, and Jerrelle Clark Rhino vs. Tommy Dreamer Mick Foley vs. Sonny Siaki |

Interstate Title Tourney: Harry Smith vs. Chad Collyer William Regal is at ringside doing commentary. Regal puts over Smith. When asked about how Harry Smith can be part of the British Invasion, Regal explains that though Smith was born in Canada, his father was 100% British. Styles points out that Smith is only 50% British, to which Regal replies: "The Queen is on their coin, and that's good enough for me." As for the match, it's exciting as Smith and Collyer are both technically sound. Smith tries for some power, but Collyer surprises him by wrestling his way around pretty much everything. Smith FINALLY goes to some technical moves, but Collyer was already warmed up and gets the win with the Texas Cloverleaf. WINNER: Chad Collyer (60/41/80) I'm gonna freakin' kill you! Kurt Angle has a microphone, and a chip on his shoulder. Chris Benoit hit him in the head with the NWA Midwest Title last week. Kurt would like to return the favor this week, but Benoit didn't show up for work tonight. But it's ok, because Kurt's fighting a #1 contender's match tonight. Angle vs. Abyss. And Kurt is pissed and ready to kill someone to get his hands on Benoit. (100) Chair Swinging Freaks vs. Austin Lee & Konrad The freaks tear Lee and Konrad to pieces. McGuinness & Burchill try to interfere, but Balls Mahoney clobbers them both with chairs outside the ring. Rotten pins Konrad for the win WINNERS: Chair Swinging Freaks (58/43/73) Luck of the draw Raven is sitting outside. He congratulates Punk. They both had hard lives, and they've both made it out of the gutters. But making it out clean doesn't make Punk better. It makes him lucky. While being lucky is helpful, it's not going to save Punk. Nothing will. (81) 1 down... Onyx is backstage. He wants everyone to know that he's going to win the Interstate Title Tournament. If they don't believe him, they need to watch his match against John Walters. It's proof that he's climbing the ladder of success, no matter what gets thrown at him. 1 down, too many too count left to go... (57) Interstate Title Tourney-Ken Kennedy vs. Matt Striker Kennedy makes his own ring introduction, as usual. The match is all Kennedy. Until Kennedy knocks Striker out of the ring. The ref checks on Striker, then someone in a mask crawls over the barrier and nails Kennedy with the ring bell. The ref gets up just in time to see Kennedy laying down, and Striker takes advantage. WINNER: Matt Striker (70/68/73) Lords of what??? Jim E. Cornette is backstage with the Naturals. He encourages the Lords of the Ring to "do something about it." He challenges Rob Conway to a one on one match with Andy Douglas next week. And Nick Dinsmore to a one on one match the next week. If the Lords of the Ring win both matches, the Naturals will give up their claim to the #1 contendership. (78) No. 1 Contender's Match: Kurt Angle vs. Abyss Kurt Angle is raring to go. Abyss makes it to the ring with Mitchell at his side. Abyss crosses his arms at Kurt, who retaliates with a double leg takedown and some WICKED mounted punches. Angle stands up and pulls Abyss to his feet, and Abyss clotheslines Kurt, then rolls out of the ring. Apparently, he wasn't prepared for this Kurt Angle. The match continues a bit. Abyss gathers some steam, and actually gets the upperhand. Abyss gets ready for the Shock Treatment when Batista's music plays. Abyss drops Kurt and faces the runway. Batista walks out and sets a chair down. Abyss crosses his arms at Batista, which allows Kurt to hit the Angle Slam to pick up the win. WINNER: Kurt Angle (82/79/86) Angle points at the camera and taunts Benoit. Batista folds up his chair and leaves. |

NWA: Mid-Atlantic's Saturday Night Flood Sept. 17, 2006 Commentary by Jim Ross, Commissioner Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin (in search of a protégé) John Cena calls-out Christian Cage. Cena says that Cage plaid-off the audience at Revolution to cheer for Cage. Cena says he's still more old school than Cage and that winning a rap-off meant nothing. Throw-downs are about respect, but there isn't any between them. Throw-dons might be good, but an Old School Street Fight will actually settle the score. 98 "Sugar" Shane Helms debuts another pretentious "artistic" video. He recaps the background of The Outsiders and calls them no talent thugs. He says that the arts make him self-actualized, and that Les Bohèmiens will be the next Mid-Atlantic Tag Team champions. 83 2 Skinny Black Guys demand the two goth wrestlers who have been attacking them the past couple of weeks show themselves and challenge them to a tag match at Revelations. 67 2 Skinny Black Guys def. 2 Live Kewl via Disqualification at 6:19 when the two goth wrestlers once again attacked 2 Skinny Black Guys. 2 Live Kewl broke-up the fight and helped 2 Skinny Black Guys throw the goth wrestlers out of the ring. As they chased the goth wrestlers away, Fit Finlay stormed the ring side and pulled Colt Cabana outo f the ring, and dropped him on the ring barrier. **1\4 72/65/80 The Rock makes an NWA title Open Challenge. The first person to walk-out from the locker room accepts the challenge. Abdullah The Butcher came to the ring with fork in hand. NWA Title Match The Rock def. Abdullah The Butcher via Disqualification at 1:23 when Abdullah stabbed The Rock on the forehead with a fork. Heenan restarted the match and stipulated no disqualification; and for now on, all NWA title matches will be No DQ. The Rock def. Abdullah the Butcher at 6:17 with The Rock Bottom followed by The People's Elbow. After the match, Abdullah once again stabbed The Rock on the forehead with the fork. *** 79/73/85 The Hardy Boyz meet Commissioner Heenan at the commentators table and say they want The Heart Throbs in a rematch. Heenan tells them they'll get a match sometime soon, but not now. 92 John Cena, Chavo Guerrero, and "Sugar" Shane Helms def. Christian Cage, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall at 9:40 when Cena threw Hall in the ring post multiple times and put him in an F-U for the pin. ***1/2 84/86/81 A video segment plays with Mid-Atlantic Champion "God's Gift to Wrestling" Christopher Daniels driving with AJ (Styles-)Daniels. Chris pulls into a old farm house driveway with a large banner that says, "Daniels Family Reunion 2006". Chris goes around introducing AJ as the "lost" Daniels in the family, the one that no-one ever speaks about. Things are going well, until Chris' younger brother picks a fight with AJ and AJ smashes the younger Daniels' head with gramma's bean pot. Chris: Dammit AJ! That was my grandmother bean pot! Oh, you hit Josh with it? Good job. :Gives a thumbs up.: Eventually, all of the family begins a family fight that turns into a fist fight with Chris and AJ working as a team. Chris goes around to pop AJ, but AJ plans ahead and kick Chris in the gut, and puts him in the Angel Wings through the dessert table. 91 Sting def. Ric Flair via Double DQ when Val Venis interfered in the match attacking Sting. Flair grabbed a chair and pointed towards Sting. Venis held-up Sting and Flair deliberately hit Venis, instead. Sting and Flair double-teamed Venis leaving him laid-out in the ring. ****1/4 92/98/79 Sting: I accept your challenge. Ross: Well look at that, folks! Sting is a man a few words, but he just accepted Venis' one-on-challenge. Heenan: Hey, Austin, find the right protégé tonight? Austin: I think I have a good feel, but just not the perfect one tonight. 84
