From PWInsider:

Ring of Honor will be giving former WWE stars Brent (Gunner Scott) Albright and Tank Toland (Chad Dick) a look next week in Dayton, Ohio since both are from the Louisville, Kentucky area. ROH is looking for some new faces to freshen up their cards, which is why Zach Gowen (possibly coming back and used in the new ROH Video Wire, seen above) and M-Dogg 20 (returning in Dayton using the name Matt Cross) were given shots in the Midwest last week.

Looks like Albright has already bounced back. So much for the 90 No-Compete clause.

The "No-Compete" Clause only relates to competition. ROH and other Indies have never been off limits.

Good news, everyone knows how good Albright is, but I bet Toland will surprise some people.

And the best part is the RoHbots don't make a peep about it. Of course if TNA picked him up they'd all be ragging on them about it.

A 1-legged guy and a yard-tard. Yep, 2 strong pickups there.

I also like how everytime they come to Ohio they bring in some former OVW guy. Hey idiots, OVW doesn't actually operate in Ohio except for maybe the most southern parts of the state.

Albright and Toland going to RoH is an awesome thought. Gowen, not so much, though to be fair I don't remember too much bitching when he was getting shots with TNA (around the first Victory Road ppv). I'm not familiar enough with M-Dogg to have an opinion.

as far as I know, OVW doesn't run in Ohio at all. Though I believe the TV gets picked up on a small channel in Cincy

If OVW isn't run in Ohio, that leads me to wonder why it's called "Ohio Valley Wrestling." Any thoughts?

Because Kentucky is in the Ohio Valley. Just like the Ohio River doesnt technically actually flow through Ohio.

I wasn't 100% sure. I know they hit Indiana from time to time so I thought maybe they hit one of smaller border towns or something.

if they hit the border towns, it would have to be in Eastern Ohio. If they came to SW Ohio, I'd have went.
