The TNA in 3-months thing... I remember that back in Week 2 when we got to see Cheex. TNA is far from the graveyard. I was skeptical at first, but Panda Energy seems to be really high on making them a success.

Or at the very least losing shitloads of money to keep the company going.

Well, it's gotten more productive since the Nashville days when they were doing horrible buys and papered crowds in a dingy old amusement park.

Oh I agree, it's just that not making money is still NOT making money.

I don't think they're losing money like they were. I know every now and then they finish a month in the black. I doubt they're losing like they were in the early years.

I'll say this about TNA: They're good to their workers. They could just put 5-10 workers per episode, and only pay those guys and probably make a much higher profit. But they've got the heart to try to fit as many guys as possible in every show, and try to help them pay their bills. It may hurt the quality of the show just a bit, but if I were Matt Bentley, I'd appreciate the help.

They definately aren't losing money like they used to, but they certainly aren't making it either. Now, I don't wanna sound like I want TNA to fail, because I don't. It's just that a company can only operate for so long without making a profit. It just makes no sense.

I will also agree with what Swiggy said about them being decent to their workers. They have a steady place of employment that hikes up their indy rates (considering they appear on TV everyweek it actually benefits the indies too), and they don't have to be on the road everyday of the year like they would be in the WWE.

They also deserve credit for helping guys out with medical shit too. I know that Konnan needed some financial help with his medical problems recently and they at least lent him money to get it taken care of.

They could make money now if they really wanted to. A couple of weeks in India where the show is insanely popular would probably put them in the black for the entire year.

Only problem...

1. Doing shows in India isn't exactly a common practice.

2. Plane tickets for 50+ people to India from the U.S.?

Also, I don't but that the show is "insanely" popular anywhere. Especially india. Because if it was and the opportunity was there, they'd run a show there.

Also, think about the exchange rate between the U.S. and India. How many people in India can afford to buy tickets at the price TNA would need to make the show profitable enough for the effort?

It makes sense though. I mean WCCW used to be insanely popular in Israel. Like the country would fucking shut down to watch WCCW television.

What I'm saying though is who is the source stating TNA's popularity in India?

Because the only source I've heard that from is TNA.

I've heard it elsewhere but don't recall. I believe it was the ratings or something like that which were quite good. They just need to venture out more in general. Bound for Glory was evidence that they can pull a couple thousand easy in the right markets so they should start doing it.

From what I've heard so far the tickets for Lockdown in St. Louis were selling pretty badly.

They NEED to venture out and do house shows. There's no reason why they can't do it and should have setup some kind of working agreement with other indies out there to help this out.

I honestly don't get what they are thinking as far as their business model goes.
