NEW Saturday Night
November 11th 2006

Finally, the lower card stars of NEW will now have a place to shine! Welcome to the all new New England Wrestling Saturday Night!

The show opens with a hype video for the NEW Tag Team Champions, Jushin "Thunder" Liger and Yoshiro Tajiri. They will be defending their titles in tonight's main event, against PTL's Adam Pearce and Matt Sydal! The video is primarily clips of Liger and Tajiri retaining their titles over D'Lo Brown and his numerous partners, and against AMW and the Bashams at Manchester Mayhem. (60%)

Christian York and Sonjay Dutt defeated Brian Kendrick and Jerrelle Clark at 7:14 when York rolled up Clark. This was an excellent match, full of quick tags and innovative double teams. After the match, Kendrick slapped the taste out of Clark and told him that he needed to get his act together if their tag team is going to continue. (78/63/93)

After a commercial, Brian Kendrick is seen backstage throwing a temper tantrum. Clark tries to calm him down, and apologizes for losing the match tonight. Kendrick said that he is giving Clark one more chance. They will be wrestling against the Dudley Boyz next week on Saturday Night, and they need a win. If they lose, Kendrick is going to kick Clark's ass. (72%)

Chris Sabin defeated Xavier at 11:45 in an unbelievable match. This is what happens when the underutilized stars of NEW get a chance to shine. It looked like Xavier was going to pick up a big upset victory at several points, but Sabin came back and hit the Cradle Suplex. The crowd gave both men a standing ovation after the match. (81/62/100)

Andrew Martin squashed Shark Boy in 2:19. Not much to say about this match, other than that Martin was overly aggressive and hit the big boot and the pump handle slam to pick up the victory. After the match, Martin cut a short promo demanding that the fans take him seriously. Martin also stated that no one will ever call him by his real name again, they will once again refer to him only as... "TEST!" (69/64/75)

A hype video for Mick Foley airs. Foley has not been seen since the brutal street fight at Resistance, but he will be returning this Monday, on Blizzard. (93%)

NEW Tag Team Champions Jushin "Thunder" Liger and Yoshiro Tajiri defeated Adam Pearce and Matt Sydal at 8:02 to retain their titles. This was another awesome match up, that might have been ruined by a run in by Sonny Siaki and Tommy Dreamer (who will be facing PTL in a classic survivor match at Methodical Madness). Otherwise, the match was a high flying spectacle and featured less cheating than usual by the team of Liger and Tajiri. (77/64/91)

The show ends with Liger and Tajiri posing with their championships, while Dreamer and Siaki laugh it up on the stage.

Overall: 75%

We got a 2.14 rating for 'NEW Saturday Night!

NWA: New England Wrestling
Blizzard (Monday)
November 11th 2006

The show opens with a recap of JBL and the Cabinet destroying the ankle of The Rcok last week. As a result, The Rock will not be in attendance tonight. Tonight's main event will be a tag team contest. James Gibson and Chris Jericho will be on opposite teams and each have been asked to find a tag partner who they feel compliments them best.

Christian York and Sonjay Dutt defeated PTL's Kevin Steen and Frankie Kazarian at 8:00. The victory, while a big win for York and Dutt, was not a clean one, as Tommy Dreamer and Sonny Siaki got involved, wacking the PTL guys with kendo sticks after a referee bump. The rest of PTL ran Siaki and Dreamer off, but the damage had been done. York and Dutt were not pleased, and demanded that they face Dreamer and Siaki next week. (74/63/86)

After a break, PTL's Carlito remained in the ring and cut a nasty promo against Eric Bischoff. Carlito claims that Bischoff likes to get "romantic" with sheep and that's just not cool. Bischoff comes out and promises that Carlito's PTL days are over, as Team Bischoff will beat PTL at Methodical Madness. But tonight, Bischoff makes a match for Carlito to face his personal bodyguard, Hardcore Holly! (73%)

Ace Steel defeated J.R. Ryder at 4:02. This was another strong showing for Steel, though the crowd took a nap through it. It was a short, yet competitive match, and Steel is looking like he could be making a big impact in the near future. (73/56/91)

Backstage, Mick Foley arrives at the building and bumps into his friend, Rhino. Foley apologizes for not being there to help Rhino out of the beat-downs he received from America's Most Wanted on the last two shows. Rhino says not to worry about it, and that tonight they are going to get their glorious revenge on AMW. (87%)

America's Most Wanted defeated Mick Foley and Rhino at 15:43. The match was very evenly matched for the most part, with AMW pulling out all of their usual heel trickery. Foley and Rhino looked like they had the match won, until Rhino missed a GORE on James Storm and accidently hit Foley instead. This made Foley an easy victim to AMW's Death Sentence, giving AMW the victory. Rhino tried to apologize to Foley after the match, but Foley shoved him off and stormed to the back. (84/83/86)

The NEW World Champion John Bradshaw Layfield, with his Cabinet of Orlando Jordan and the Basham Brothers come out to the ring. JBL has the boys in the truck play back footage of the Cabinet destroying The Rock's ankle as well as the footage of JBL beating Rey Mysterio to retain the NEW title, and sending Mysterio back to the Mid-Atlantic. JBL jokes that the Mid-Atlantic might not even want Mysterio back after the embarassment he suffered at the hands of the "Wrestling God." JBL then addresses the rumors that the newly signs superstars from CSW are starting at Methodical Madness. JBL says that he is not afraid of CSW because aside from Samoa Joe, none of them ever had the balls to come and get him before. President Rowe then stands up from the announce table and says that The Rock will be back next week, and that their match at Methodical Madness is now "NO DISQUALIFICATIONS!" JBL throws a fit, because now there is nothing but the Cabinet to protect him from a possible assault from the CSW guys. (81%)

Carlito defeated Hardcore Holly at 6:44. Carlito hit the backcracker on Holly and pinned him with his feet on the ropes for leverage. Carlito then ran from the ring and celebrated the victory on the entrance ramp, before Holly could get any form of payback. (78/79/79)

Rene Dupree defeated D'Lo Brown at 5:34 thanks to interferance from Krazy Kid Kash. Is it in bad taste that Kash's initials are now "KKK?" President Rowe thinks so. Anyhow, the match was pretty good, tainted by the interferance at the end. Ron Killings makes the save, setting up Kash and Dupree vs. Truth and Brown for Methodical Madness. (83/82/85)

In a huge suprise, none other than KING BOOKER makes his way out to the ring. The crowd is booing the King right out of the gate. Booker takes a microphone and addresses all the New England peasants. Booker then stops and suddenly speaks without the British accent "Tell me I didn't just say that!" Booker tears his crown off his head and smashes it with his sceptor. He then tears his cape off and rips it apart. Booker then takes the microphone and yells into it "Booker T is back... can you dig THAT... Suckaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Booker T then poses to the crowd to a HUGE pop! (95%)

Chris Jericho and Rob Van Dam defeated James Gibson and Chris Sabin at 12:59. The match was exciting, as all four men were booked to look strong throughout. Sabin almost picked up an upset when he hit the Cradle Suplex on Jericho, but Jericho kicked out. It looked like Gibson and Sabin would get the upper hand when the PTL guys showed up on the stage (trying to distract RVD). However, Edge, Siaki, Dreamer, and Holly attacked the PTL guys, which only ended up distracting Gibson and Sabin. Jericho hit an enziguri on Sabin and locked him into the Walls of Jericho for the submission victory. (88/87/89)

The show ended with Chris Jericho standing tall in the ring, posing with Gibson's Boston Harbor Championship belt.

Overall: 82%

We got a 7.00 rating for 'Blizzard'!
The attendance level was 11004 people.
We made $330120 from ticket sales.

I'm happy to hear that. That's why I started doing NWA: Hawaii, though NWA:H is just a small time territory that does monthly shows and doesn't really have an official roster.

NWA: United Kingdom Main Event Wrestling:

BG James kicks off the show. As he's about to start his usual promo Monty Brown interrupts. Brown says that tonight he'll become the first ever British Commonwealth Champion and James will feel the POOOOOUNCE!!!

Adam Windsor vs. Brent Albright opens the show. Pretty good match as Windsor and Albright did a lot of mat work. Finish came when Albright applied the Crowbar for the submission. 61/49/74

Mike Sanders says that tonight he plans to win the British Commonwealth Championship.

the Ballard Brothers vs. Beef Wellington and the Amazing Darkstone is next. The crowd wasn't familiar with anyone other than Wellington unfortunately. Great tag match with a lot of hard hitting action and some great brawling. This match might be a show stealer. 66/39/93

Norman Smiley announces that he's joined NWA: U.K.

Doug Williams vs. Johnny Smith. A technical masterpiece. The definate match of the night as Williams picks up the win with the Revolution DDT. Crowd wasn't into it due to both being faces but were into by the end. 75/50/100

Billy Kidman vs. Sean Waltman. Surprisingly decent match here. Both men kept it grounded due to their past injuries and age. Finish came after Kidman rolled up Waltman and grabbed a handful of tights. 72/63/82

Raymond Rougeau came out and announced that he'll be wrestling for NWA: U.K.

BG James vs. Kip James vs. Mike Sanders vs. Monty Brown for the British Commonwealth Title. Okay match for the most part. Nothing special though. the end came after Brown whipped out on a Pounce attempt and BG James rolled him up for the win and to become the first champion. 70/69/72

NWA Midwest Burnout 11-10-06

Jerry Lynn vs. Jimmy Jacobs
Lynn offers a handshake before the match. Jacobs accepts. The two have a good match, with Lynn stopping Jacobs from heelish antics several times. Jacobs actually listens to Lynn, and loses the match clean. Lynn helps Jacobs out and holds his hand up in respect.
WINNER: Jerry Lynn

There's only one thing easy in wrestling...
Kurt Angle is backstage. He laughs at Benoit wanting it easy. He asks Benoit if it was easy for Angle to win a gold medal with a broken neck? Was it easy for Angle to break his addiction to painkillers? Was it easy for Kurt Angle to tap out to the crossface at Vendetta? Of course not. The only easy thing in wrestling is laying down and pointing your boots to the sky. So if Benoit wants it easy, he can lay down in the middle of the ring at FULL THROTTLE and Kurt will be happy to make the pin and walk away the Champion.

Claudio Castagnoli vs. CM Punk
The two lock up. Punk tries for some MMA style offense, but Castagnoli slides out of the ring before Punk can get in a rhythm. Punk goes for a suicide dive, but Castagnoli ducks and Punk hits the security barrier. Castagnoli baits Punk several times before locking in the Helvetique Clutch to get the win
WINNER: Claudio Castagnoli

The belts are ours!!!
Jim E. Cornette is backstage with The Naturals. They're very confident that they can win the Tag Titles tonight. They claim the British Invasion is getting lazy and rusty. They'll prove they're the superior team tonight.

Raven vs. Saturn
Raven requested the match, Saturn gladly obliged. The two brawl all over the place. Raven's aggressive, but Saturn is even more so. Raven uses that to his advantage, though, and picks up the win with the Raven Effect.
WINNER: Raven

You have it!
William Regal accepts Chad Collyer's challenge for Full Throttle. He warns Collyer, though, that he doesn't have to use cheating to win. He just likes to.

Onyx vs. Jack Evans
The Interstate Champion finds Evans to be hilarious. And then he pounds him into the mat. And doesn't stop until security pulls him off.
WINNER: Onyx

Withdrawal symptoms
Claudio Castagnoli is backstage. He admits that todays "Transaction" was because of Punk's actions several weeks ago. Punk disrespected him, and he has now repaid Punk. That account is now closed. Castagnoli is ready to open a new account, and it may be a "Gold" account.

Ken Kennedy vs. John Walters
Kennedy walks to the ring in a new robe for his introduction. Walters doesn't want to give him the time to do it, but Kennedy kicks him square in the nuts before the match, and tells Walters that his robe actually cost more than Walters will make this month. So he needs to lay off and allow the newly rich Kennedy to do his job. Walters regains his composure and the match starts after Kennedy disrobes. Walters gives it a shot, but Kennedy picks up the win with the Lambeau Leap.
WINNER: Kennedy

I would've won!
Homicide wants the world to know that he would've handed Striker his ass would the match not had a time limit. He wants a rematch to prove that the NWA Midwest X Division Champion can beat ANYONE.

NWA Midwest Tag Title Match: The Naturals vs. The British Invasion
The Brits are laughing at Jim E. Cornette's tennis racket. The Naturals don't find it funny, and Chase Stevens shows Nigel by pounding the crap out of him. Burchill tags in and Andy Douglas becomes the face in peril. The Naturals make a comeback, and Nigel cheats while Burchill distracts the ref. Cornette, though, uses the tennis racket on Nigel and the Naturals hit the Natural Disaster for the win.
WINNERS AND NEW TAG CHAMPS: The Naturals

Burchill is stunned. He attends to Nigel. The Naturals and Cornette celebrate
Scrooge McSuck
