So I was out of the loop for awhile and came back to this as the Triple Crown Champion:

I have to say that I'm really disappointed that they didn't give Taiyo Kea a real run with the belt. I'm not as big on Minoru Suzuki as a lot of other people are. Definately not as the guy you're building the promotion on.
Here are some upcoming All Japan shows not including the New Japan Dome Show.

All Japan is a lot better off now than they were a year or so ago, although it's hard to be much worse than they were at that point. While the company will obviously never be back to mid-90's levels of greatness, I'm glad to see they have a lot more personality and aren't full of JUST shitty wrestlers anymore. It doesn't hurt to mix in some guys who can actually bring the goods once in awhile.
AHII/Yoshitsune is fucking fun and reminds me of a young Hayabusa.
D'Lo and Buchanan I thought were both underrated in WWE. RO'Z is no Jamal but better than some other WWE rejects I could think of.
Kaz is fucking good, he went really unnoticed this year from what I've seen, having some really good matches.
Kondo is fucking awesome, really the only AJPW guy I go out of my way to see his matches. He was a great pick up for the company when he came over, and his match with Kaz from earlier in the year is one of the more fun spotfests I watched all year, along with KENTA/Marufuji from October.
I'm big on MiSu. I can see where you're coming from Mad Dog, but honestly I think Kea sucks. Suzuki may not be the guy to build the company on, but he's having a really fun reign of just kicking asses. The guy has always entertained me.
Again, I'm not high on Kea, or Kojima for that matter either. They are both carriable but a lot of Kojima matches I've seen have fallen apart. I won't judge Kea as much as I've only seen a handful of his matches, but really they've all been pretty bad unless he's in there with Kawada or Suzuki.
And of course there's Kensuke Family who are always awesome when they stop by.

Wait wait fucking wait. Minoru Suzuki has the triple crown.
I'm going to kill myself.
Not that he's THAT bad, but fucking TCC? Awful.
Although they do seem to be a bit better off since the last time I've watched, I honestly couldn't think of a main program I would even want to see MiSu in. UGH.

Yeah, I don't get the online love for him. It seems like being stiff in the ring is the quickest way to get overhyped by the smark crowd these days. I could see him as the Zero-One champion or something. But in a supposed major fed like All Japan he should be a tag team champion at best. Worst of all is Taiyo Kea finally won the damned belt and lost it after 2 months. It won't happen but I think Yuji Nagata beating him at the Dome Show would be better for All Japan as a whole.

Wow, Kawada and Kea as a team? That's pretty interesting, although I don't understand why they don't have Kawada working singles....

The first report I read actually said that he won it.
Then as I dug deeper for more confirmed results, I see that he lost -- and to a sleeper.
