Yeah, we're a notch behind.

I'll be behind a bit because I have my mother in law in town this weekend, but I'll catch up sometime next week

Yeah, I'm a bit behind. I was going to do a show today but then I remembered that I didn't have time to do it (thanks to school). Maybe I'll do one now.

I know Plague has his shows simulated, but he's just behind because of school and that he doesn't have access to his game files during breaks.

Fallout of Motor City Massacre....

Blackout vs. Delirious & Jack Evans
Delirious & Evans actually work well together. There's a possibility they may work together in the future. But here, they take the fall to Blackout.

Benoit celebrates his win
NWA Midwestern Champion Chris Benoit makes his way to the ring with the belt over his shoulder. He's here to celebrate. He beat Kurt Angle last night. And he beat him definitively. He beat him so bad that Angle couldn't pull himself up. And now he's going to do what he's wanted to do since he won the belt. Take a week off.

But that's not going to happen, as CM Punk makes his way to the ring. Punk tells Benoit that if he were champ, he wouldn't take a week off. But maybe that's the difference between Benoit & Punk. Punk thrives on competition and victory. Benoit just does it because he has too. Benoit takes offense. Punk challenges Benoit to a match. Benoit agrees. And makes it a tag match. Benoit will find a partner, and Punk will need to find one. Punk agrees!!!!

Matt Striker vs. B-Boy
Striker's still upset about B-Boy costing him the X Division Title last Sunday at Motor City Massacre. He takes it out on Homicide associate, winning with gusto.

Impending Doom
Jim Mitchell is backstage with Abyss. They predict a gold belt in the Monster's future.

Punk & ??? vs. Benoit & ???
They each pick their own partners. Benoit picks William Regal. Punk surprisingly picks Raven. Regal and Benoit sneak attack to start the match. Raven plays face in peril, and Punk almist gets the win over Regal, but Raven is pre-occupied looking for Jarrett's interference.

I've got what it takes!
Striker grabs a microphone. He declares that he has what it takes to beat Homicide. He would've done it at Motor City Massacre had B-Boy not interfered. And he's going to do it next week. One on one. If he beats Homicide next week, he wants another shot at the X Division Belt.

The Sandman vs. Ken Kennedy
The Sandman makes his way to the ring. Ken Kennedy makes his way. Gertner does Kennedy's introduction. The Sandman takes the microphone from Gertner, and tells The Sandman that he's going to do to Kennedy exactly what Kennedy did to the Lords of the Ring last Sunday. Kennedy seems ok with it until the Chair Swinging Freaks music plays.

The Sandman The Chair Swinging Freaks vs. Ken Kennedy
Kennedy freaks. The Freaks run to the ring. Kennedy tries to throw Gertner in their path, but the Freaks basically ignore him. Gertner looks stoked until the Sandman canes him square inbetween the eyes. The Freaks attack Kennedy, and lay him to waste as The Sandman drinks beer and smokes cigarettes at ringside. Good fun.

Be warned...
Jim E. Cornette and the Naturals are backstage. Cornette warns the tag teams out there that the Naturals have arrived.

Jerry Lynn vs. Konrad
Um.... Squash.

You take from me, I'll take from you
Jeff Jarrett has a pre-recorded message for Raven. He's been planning this for months, apparently. In reality, it's been years. Ever since that fateful night in April 2003. The night Raven was "supposed" to win the NWA Title in TNA. Raven wouldn't sign a new contract before the show, and Jarrett won. The fans weren't happy, and they've NEVER let him live it down. Everywhere he goes, people ask him about it. Now, in 2007. He's sick of it. And he's here to take Raven out. To rub it in the face of all those jackasses out there.

NWA Midwest Extreme Championship-Sabu© vs. Abyss
It's a good brawl. Both guys tear into each other. Abyss hits some serious power moves, but Sabu somehow eeks out a win.

NWA: New England Wrestling
Monday Night Blizzard
January 22nd 2007

The Cabinet come out to the ring. JBL announces that Danny Basham was injured last week on Blizzard. In this case, Alex Shelley will take his place as one half of the NEW Tag Team Champions along with Doug Basham. The CSW guys come out on the stage and want to fight again. Steve Corino announces that he will be the one to face Shelley at Subzero, but Aries and Strong are getting a shot at the tag titles... tonight! (73%)

Best of Seven series, match five:
Matt Sydal (2) vs. Frankie Kazarian (2)

This is the usual good match these two have been having. Sadly, the crowd hasn't warmed up to either man as much as hoped by having this series. Kazarian really picked up his game this time, as for the first time since the series began, Kazarian earned a clean victory after a tornado DDT and the Wave of the Future.
Winner: Frankie Kazarian @ 6:17 (78/69/87)

Backstage, Ric Flair, Sonny Siaki, and Tommy Dreamer are laughing about what they did to Mick Foley last week. Flair feels relieved, seeing this as a means of escaping his promised Hell in a Cell match against Foley. Now that Foley is gone, they plan on finishing off his tag team partner, Rhino! (95%)

Rhino vs. Tommy Dreamer (with Ric Flair and Sonny Siaki)
This was a decent brawl, hurt a bit by some outside interference by Flair and Siaki. The referee ended up kicking both of them out of the arena. After they were gone, Rhino and Dreamer had a good brawl around the ring, but ultimately Rhino reversed the Dreamer Driver and hit the GORE to earn a convincing victory!
Winner: Rhino @ 9:03 (84/87/78)

Backstage, Booker T talks about his match against The Rock tonight. Booker says that he respects The Rock and that he considers him to be a friend, even though they've had their differences in the past. Booker says that tonight he will show that he will do what he has to do to advance up the ranks in NEW, as Booker will not show Rock any mercy if they cross paths in the Royal Rumble match at Subzero. (97%)

The Rock vs. Booker T
This match wasn't wonderful by any means, but the crowd was hot for it. Booker and Rock had some fun mimmicking eachother's mannerisms without each other taking it personally. Things heated up for a bit, as both men kept narrowly avoiding one another's finishers, but sadly the match ended up a draw when Edge ran in and speared both Rock and Booker. Edge announced himself as being entered into the Rumble match and wanted to get an advantage.
No contest @ 7:16 (84/89/75)

Backstage, Eric Bischoff approaches Samoa Joe, trying to suck up to him as he will be facing JBL for the NEW title at Subzero. Joe gets right into Bischoff's face and says he doesn't want any part of any backstage politics that Bischoff might be scheming. Bischoff takes this personally, and tells Joe to watch his back, as he supports JBL and the Cabinet. (89%)

James Gibson vs. Brian Kendrick
Gibson's Boston Harbor Championship is not on the line in this match, and that turns out to be a good things, as Kendrick actually dominates for a bit. Gibson is still sporting injured ribs, and barely made it out of No Leaf Clover with his title intact. Gibson mounted a big time comeback and was on his way to defeating Kendrick, when Chris Jericho run in and tripped him without the referee seeing. This distracted Gibson, who was then rolled up by Kendrick for the upset victory!
Winner: Brian Kendrick @ 7:01 (86/87/86)

NEW Tag Team Championship:
Doug Basham and Alex Shelley © vs. Austin Aries and Roderick Strong

Aries and Strong are finally able to gain some measure of revenge on Shelley. Strong unleashes his brutal knife edge chops on Shelley, and Aries follows them up his vicious kicks. Shelley desperately tags in Basham, but Aries and Strong are no less sympathetic to their other enemy. Luckily, Shelley gets a low blow in on Strong, which turns the tide for a bit. Basham and Shelley make frequent tags, establishing Strong as the face in peril. Of course, Strong eventually makes the tag, and Aries cleans house, finishing things up with the 450 splash on Basham for the win!
Winners and NEW Tag Team Champions: Austin Aries and Roderick Strong @ 14:34 (82/78/87)

Announced for next week:
Contract signing between JBL and Samoa Joe!
James Gibson defends the Boston Harbor title against Brian Kendrick!
Aries and Strong defend their newly won tag titles against Shelley and Basham... in a ladder match!

Overall: 85%
