NWA Anarchy is hosting one of the first round matches which I'm quite excited to see as Chad Parham will face off against Damien Wayne. I'll post the other match ups as I find them. |

Crap, you beat me to the punch. Mine's prettier. Anyway, It would be possible for me to get pumped about this. Not much in the first round, but after that it could turn out nice. I'd pay to see a final four of Wayne / Danielson and Albright/ Claudio. |

I think there's a good chance of that. My only concern would be Pearce beating Wayne in the second round. |

Yeah, that's the most intriguing bracket, because I'm not sure who's going over between Aguilera and Pearce either. |

I'd imagine Pearce is. I couldn't imagine the NWA pushing Aguilera as a legit threat in this tournament just because he used to work with the WWE. I think Danielson/Albright as the final is a sure thing. Though getting Albright like they did would make me consider giving him the belt over Danielson but either guy is a good restart for the NWA. Though their DVD thing is going to fail horribly. |

I could definitely see them showing Aguilera as a threat. He's a big guy, and he's been in WWE. That puts him ahead of most of the guys on this list in terms of casual observers. They wouldn't give him the belt, but I could certainly see him going to the final four. You know, I don't even know what would be considered a success for their DVD deal. |

Them not crapping out after a handful of DVDs like RoH did would probably be a success. I think the nation wide release is a bad idea though. They could've carved a nice niche on highspots and other places but got greedy. But then they got greedy with TNA and lost the closest thing they had to a national tv deal in decades too. But they need to play the DVDs smart. As in the DVDs need to build off of each other with storylines and such. Not just a random bunch of matches. Give people a reason to continue buying the shows. |

But the NWA as a promotion does not exist, right? Maybe they have some plan in mind for organizing, but I doubt it. It just seems like a fly by the seat of your pants kind of deal. |

The NWA still technically exists in a regional market. It's basically indies fly the NWA banner so that it's like it was years ago with the original NWA. Although, without half of the talent. |

Right, and that's kind of my point. I could see NWA Anarchy getting a deal, but how is the NWA as a governing body gonna be able to make a national DVD deal work? |

Who the hell knows. Most likely by combining a lot of the stuff that they are doing or just champion a territory like they basically did when TNA was under them. |

I'd just give the deal to Anarchy if I were them. Anarchy does good tv and would be able to do good episodic DVDs IMO. |

Apparently, the NWA has struck a deal with a small time network on DISH. Colours TV or something like that. They're acting like it's a big deal |
