My favorite commercial was for Pepsi Max. There's a a couple out for dinner, and the chicks doing the "I wonder" crap about EVERYTHING, then they shoot to the guy and his thoughts were "I hope she sleeps with me, I hope she sleeps with me...". Then he sees the Pepsi and wants that. Then she says no, and he responds "no to which?" |

Creepiest one was the OnStar/Car ad, about the first date. Guy is denied a kiss, feels bummed about it, so drives away and asks his car to check the girl's Facebook status ("Best First Date Ever"). So... if it's their first date, does that mean they're already "friends" on Facebook. Isn't that kind of trusting for the girl? She's already friended a random guy who asked her out? Or are they not Facebook friends and this putz is stalking her on there? She's not smart enough to have her "Status" and "Wall" set to private. So he's been checking out her pictures, sizing up her friends and spying on her. Then, if they ARE already friends (let's say they've recently re-connected from high school), why didn't she give the guy SOME form of approval in person? Bitch... she'd rather let him find out via Facebook. |

I like the stalker explanation best. He looked like a creepy stalker type. Watching her status updates 24/7 and studying every "like" she has. |

Oh, and lest we forget: 2011 Hall of Fame Class: -Marshall Faulk I'm officially OLD, because I remember seeing him play for the SDSU Aztecs in the old WAC, my freshman year of college (he was a sophomore, then). I remember dragging my friends to see him play, saying: "c'mon, we can say we saw Marshall Faulk". Since he burst onto the national scene as a true freshman in 1991, the guy consistently produced at a top level. Deion Sanders Completely forgot he played for the Ravens. Guy was electric and one of the most exicting players of the early-to-mid 90's (and 1989), IMO. Shannon Sharpe YES!!! Believe it or not, but John Elway's numbers would look a lot less impressive had it not been for Sharpe. I was big on him when he was drafted as a WR in 1990 and was geekd when he became a huge part of the passing game in 1992. Tied with Simon Fletcher as My Most Favoritest All-Time Bronco. Now the third "pure Bronco" to be inducted (I'd count Gary Zimmerman, but he played a good chunk with the Vikings and the USFL). Richard Dent Thought he was already in. Regardless, I'd say he's a borderline Hall of Famer Les Richter oh... umm...he played football. Professionally. Chris Hanburger oh... umm...he played football. Professionally Ed Sabol, founder of NFL Films VERY influential in the game's popularity. Without NFL Films, there would be no "frozen tundra", the orchestral music and all those other elements that pump up the game's history and achievements. |
