Jumped out of my seat for that Reds Walk-Off. Which upset the client I was working with, which upset his roommates, which then upset my co-worker. Ooops... |

And in YOUR late games, Clayton Kershaw and Jered Weaver both aced their respective openers. I heard some whining about Opening Day being on a Thursday/Friday this year. I like it, since in past years Opening Day has been on the same day as the NCAA basketball final, which has overshadowed it at time. Opening Day needs its own day, dammit. Plus, this gets everyone pumped for the weekend. Going to the Rockies opener, tomorrow. First one since '99. |

Bobby Valentine is one of the most god awful PBP guys I've ever heard. All he does it bitch about things and down-play everything and everyone. "I don't know why he does that." "I dont buy that." "I don't like the way he does that." Maybe this is why NONE of the 12 manager spots filled in the last year went to him. |

A NY Yankees, NY Mets, and Red Sox fan are climbing a mountain, and arguing about who loves his team more. The Mets fan insists he is the most loyal. ''This is for the Mets'', he yells, and jumps off the mountain. Not to be outdone, the Yankees fan is next to profess his love for his team. He yells "This is for the Yankees!!!" and pushes the Red Sox fan off the mountain |

I would've laughed wether it was the Yankee fan doing the pushing or the Mets fan. Or maybe just have the Sox and Yanks fans both agree the Mets are pathetic and carry on their way. |

Trying to watch the Yanks/Tigers on FOX, but Joe Buck is sick and is in a MOOD. Seriously, I've never heard a PBP man with such a pissy attitude. I'm sorry you don't feel good, but chill the fuck out. |

James Shields is pitching for the Rays, allowing me to tell a dumb story. When he first got the nickname "Big Game James" during the playoff push of 2008, I was kicking myself thinking "I've heard that nickname before" but couldn't for the life of me remember. Then I watched one of those NBA Films about the LA Lakers, and, yup, James Worthy was "Big Game James" too. Pretty lame story, but it gives me something to do. :) |

Went to Opening Day at Coors Field on Friday. I don't remember it being this big of a deal in Denver, before. All the bars downtown were packed, like it was St. Patrick's Day or something. When I used to work two blocks away from Coors Field, Opening Day was always well-attended, but they never had three hours of pre-games concerts in the streets and the bars were emptied out by 5pm. Of course, it didn't hurt that it was a Friday and about 75 degrees and sunny. Everyone knocked off early and just hung out downtown until 1am. Before the game even started, we had seen Los Lonely Boys play, had some good beer, then found a new bar that plays 80's hair bands with about 30, working, 25-cent old school arcade games. They even had an awesome Billy Dee Williams Colt 45 neon sign. As usual, I got the high score on Galaga. My day was complete before the game even started. |

Rays have played like BALLS. Obviously I'm not the best mood about the season right now. The Sawx being equally bad is the only good thing about it. Oh, and Kaz' got lit up for 5 runs in 1+ innings of work yesterday. He's officially done. |

The O's are 3-0! Where's our pal "SS Nintendo"?! I'm about as much of a Marlins fan as I am a Mariners fan...but so far they have NOT "soared" and have only turned one or two "dooble plays". |
