There might be more coming too. These uploads have been roughly weekly for the last month or so.

I'm on this like ugly on Terry Gordy. Already started a recap, picking back up with the March 1984 episodes I was doing back in 2012!

It looks like most of 1984 is there minus some episodes here and there. We'll see if they start adding to 1985 and 1986 now.

You know, I've never really thought much of the Great Kabuki. I've seen him on previous watches of World Class, in Mid-South and in All Japan. But he has been super fun on these first couple of World Class episodes I've watched.

She's in her mid to late 30's right? I'm guessing either IVF, or her physiology had the "going out of business sale".

I think Kabuki's fine in his role. He just walks around, does a kick or two, and applies the trapezius nerve hold. His little leglock/drop thing looks pretty good, too. I'm (somewhat) looking forward to getting to his face run, eventually. Just seemed like such an impossible task to make him a face, but they pulled it off. Sunshine helped a lot, too.

The fat lady that yells at the wrestlers and the chubby Hispanic gentleman that always has a beer at ringside are my two favorite WCCW fans.

As a little kid I sat about 5 rows from ringside at a Mid-Atlantic show that Kabuki was working. The guy was terrifying. Our whole section was legit afraid for our lives. His ring work work has always been...eh, whatever, but his character comes from a different time, and was perfect. It's hard to even imagine a scenario where something like that could work today.

Much love for Kabuki.

Now that life is back to normal, more fun with the Unreleased DVD set!

Bret Hart and Warrior as a team? It happened. Unfortunately, the opponents were Kamala and Papa Shango, easily 2 of the worst workers of the era.

Did I mention how awful the Toxic Turtles was? Well, a crowd of marks in 1993 shat on it. That's how bad.

For whatever reason during the Perfect/Michaels match, the camera zooms out and just stays at a distance for several minutes. Did the guy operating the camera go take a piss or something?

Mega Maniacs vs. Money Inc is SO bad, it makes their Mania 9 match look like a MOTY candidate by comparison.

Damn.... that Bret/Warrior vs. Kamala/Shango match sounds almost as bad as Warrior/Taker vs. Berzerker/Shango from Coliseum Video.

To be fair, Bret and Mr. Perfect, around this time, were getting the best possible matches out of Papa. Even though "best possible" in this case didn't actually mean "good".

Its weird to think, but Godfather in 2002, had the run of his career and that was right when he got released. He was starting to put together a good body of work as a bully heel, going back to his all-black attire and ditching the chicks. He had good matches with Ron Simmons, Booker T, and had a great, fun squash against Funaki on WWF Metal. And then he was embroiled in a feud with Val Venis that ended quietly, off TV, due to the first brand split and Godfather getting injured.

Anyway, yeah... there's a tangent.

What "World of Warcraft" players see when they're not playing.....
