Double J is, without a doubt, one of the dullest heels the mid 90's had to offer... heels that received serious pushes, that is.

Yokozuna tried to climb a cage!

Cornette: I don't think this is a good idea! (no shit)

The set wraps up to reveal Mooney DOES live in the event center, and cuddles at night with a rasslin' buddy of the Ultimate Warrior.

And with that, the Unreleased DVD set is finished. It was fun, with even the bad stuff worth watching for comedy purposes (my own comedy, not intentional comedy). I really hope we get a 2nd set in the future.

I might have said this before, but the Fall of 1991 is MISERABLE for competitive matches on WWF TV. If you're watching WCW TV, you almost get mad when you're forced to watch Col. Mustafa stumbling around just trying to throw a punch. Brian Pillman? Bobby Eaton? Arn Anderson? Fuck that, I need Skinner, Col. Mustafa, and Big Bully Busick matches!

I completely forgot that Hogan/Undertaker was announced for Survivor Series without an angle in place. TV was built almost entirely around Hogan (and Piper) vs. Flair and Roberts (and Taker) vs. Sid (and Savage). As something to fill time, it made sense since Piper/Flair was on the books first, and Roberts/Savage was inevitable, leaving Hogan needing a challenger and Taker being available.

I'm still amused at the fact that in 1991, we got a Legion of Doom vs. Colonel Mustafa and Dino Bravo match.

What the Hell kind of team is Bravo and Mustafa? That's just bizarre. Its like the WWF pulled two names out of hat and had them team up to job to LOD.
What "World of Warcraft" players see when they're not playing.....

It's hard to abbreviate or shorten, "Iraq" (or "Iran" if you want to be technical), but I came up with:

-The I-Can Connection

-The Canadaqis

-The Quebecis

-The Franco-raqis

Or...if it was WCW or TNA, circa 200-2005: "Team Iraq/Quebec"

I have a bad habit of not labeling discs I've burned with footage ripped off YouTube. I'm the only person in history who has a Hogan vs. Dino Bravo match followed up by Owen Hart vs. Ultimo Dragon.

Going to dig out a Halloween Havoc from the vault this weekend. Any suggestions on what one I watch?

I'd throw out 1996 or 1998 as suggestions. Maybe 1997. But close your eyes for Hogan/Warrior II in 1998. Aside from the inflatable pumpkin and graphics, I don't they have any "real" Halloween tie-in, though.

1994. It's like WWF in a time capsule. Honkytonk Man, Jim Duggan, Nasty Boys, Hogan, Brother Bruti, Jimmy Hart, Mean Gene, Bobby Heenan, John Tenta, Boss Man/Guardian Angel, Mr. Wonderful, Paul Roma, Haku/Meng, and Sensual Sherri, among others .

Jeff Jarrett is now in WWE sponsored rehab

Hopefully he gets the help he needs

And it's good to see WWE does this for all former employees. Even one they are on bad terms with

Seems Road diff convinced him to go the WWF one since they are still good friends

I kind of wonder if Jarrett's issues are long term demons from his wife dying.

Halloween Havoc. 1992 is a decent little oddity of a show. 1997 is good. The Goldberg/DDP match from 1998 is outstanding.

That has been my thought. He started drinking to get through it which is understandable and it's slowly gotten worse with time and maybe stress triggers worse bouts of it.

I'm watching older NXT episodes and forgot that Albert was a color commentator for a spell (called Jason Albert). When he became head trainer, he was taken off TV, but now he's just Matt Bloom again... if you bother giving someone a gimmicked name, why bother reverting to their real name? He's almost never on TV, but still a weird inconsistency.
