Indeed. I think "LOD 2000" was even worse than they were before the name change. To think: new tights, more generic music, and Sunny as their manager didn't improve their ring work. I can't remember when it went down, but I was actually somewhat excited by the potential LOD split (right after the Rumble?) and was hoping for some Hawk vs. Animal, mostly out of curiousity. Then they came back at WM, and flush. |

Sunny barely lasted as the manager. I was excited originally because I thought they were going to get pushed. And they did for like three weeks. Then Sunny was gone and Droz came aboard. Then they jobbed to the Harris Brothers a lot. |

I haven't tried to rewatch much of that LOD/DOA program, but as a 13 year old, I thought it was pretty terrible. Concerning Sunny, I really didn't care for it since Sunny wasn't anything but show filler for well over a year at that point and thus lost whatever appeal she had in '96, or the subtle hints of how she got them back together. Sexual favors? Who knows, it was never gone into detail over. I didn't think adding Droz was too bad of an idea, and I actually dug him as a 6-man tag partner, until the "Hawk is off the wagon" stuff that turned him and Animal into douches. I'm all for less cartoony angles, but that wasn't in good taste. At all. See also: Chaz / Marianna. |

All I really remember from the whole angle was Hawk jumping off the Titantron at one point? And while Sunny wasn't completely nasty by that point, she was well on her way. Definitely no Bodydonna Sunny. I miss Bodydonna Sunny. |

The whole thing was supposed to lead to a singles push for Droz as it was revealed that he was Hawk's drug dealer. I don't remember if The angle dropped because the LOD were let go soon after because they weren't that good anymore or because of Hawk's demons. |

I was 28 at that point. At 13 I had just started watching wrestling, so I probably would have liked it. |

That being said, when I was a younger, stupider person, I thought it would've been really cool if they would've turned Droz and Prince Albert into an LOD-style team when Albert came in. But then again, I also thought Gangrel was World Title material... so, yeah.. |

As an LOD mark and a Drozdov mark (since Broncos' 1993 training camp), I was excited when I heard the two were going to hook up. Then I tuned in and they introduced him as "Puke", my eyes rolled and I felt it was going to be "Something that Sucks". So I flipped back to WCW...probably to watch Perry Saturn vs. Disco Inferno or something. |

Back to 1989 WCW. On this episode they revealed that Hiro Matsuta has purchased the rights to Ric Flair and Barry Windham. Flair: "Until you have experienced a beautiful Japanese woman, you have no idea idea of how gracious the Japanese culture is." Nice. |

I started watching wrestling in 1983 and WWF was what Iwatched first, so I am sure I saw this when it was first on TV. |

Was that under his real name of David Heath or as one of the masked Black Hearts? I assume it was as Heath? |

- Sad to say the most memorable part of Droz's career was that clip on Beyond The Mat, where he's interviewing with McMahon, and pukes on command... with McMahon encouraging it, like he was calling an episode of Raw, or something. I wonder if Vince finds great joy in getting people to do shit like that for his amusement. - Who can ever forget Deacon Batista, the muscle for Reverend D'Von? :P |
