Fun quick match as Patterson beats Dibiase for the North American belt.

SNME for March 14th, 1987. I'm hoping this is the last time I ever have to watch Randy Savage wrestle George Steele.

Going back to Ron Bass. He did the insert promo on week, jobbed the next week and then promptly disappeared until showing up in the SNME battle royal.

Why the fuck does Sika have a job?

I'm too hefty for my slacks. The zippers off it's tracks. I've stretched it to the maa-a-a-a-x.

He appears to be a semi-regular at Spectrum shows in the late 70s and early 80s. He's been dubbed Super 8 by a podcast called Titans of Wrestling.

My plan is to watch until Mania III, take a short break and then start hitting the TV again.

Beefcake has been pissed about the haircut since it happened. He even cut an insert promo on Adonis on an episode of Superstars. That face turn makes total sense now.

Hogan did his best promo on a Snake Pit two weeks before Mania. He kind of cut the bullshit and just ran down how he didn't think Andre had the heart to win the belt. They made this huge belt for Andre and Hogan talked about how it was just a toy because it was for a man that hadn't earned it yet. It was some good shit.

Ron Bass, American Starship and Sam Houston vs. The Andersons and Tully Blanchard on the 8/10/85 World Wide Wrestling is an insanely fun match.

Also had that great Taylor/Blanchard match on World Championship Wrestling the same week. Strong week of programming for JCP.

So one weekend in October I drive to Dayton for RoH on Saturday and then go to Chikara Sunday afternoon. I'm sitting 3rd row for RoH and front row for Chikara. Going to be quite the weekend.

I finally got to Mania III over the weekend. Good show but man those Coliseum edits made those early PPVs a lot easier to get through. Savage/Steamboat was great obviously but Hogan/Andre is a better match than it gets credit for. The build to the match was everyone saying Andre would win because he was big and Hogan saying Andre hadn't done it before and didn't have the heart to win in the heat of the moment. That played out perfectly in the match and the Hogan win was epic.

My plan is to take a couple weeks off from WWF TV because the last month of shows were really redundant. I'll probably hit some more JCP before getting back to it.

I also have a ton of Mid-South TV to look at and I've slowly been grabbing Memphis TV over the last year. I think I might have a problem.
