...with the Broncos. Apparently official, as it's all over the Internets. Manning Chooses Broncos One minor word of caution (which may be irrelevant by end-of-day), but the words "Adam Schefter is reporting" have been connected to this story. While he's been accurate, in the past, he's overblown stories involving the Broncos. Most notably the Mike Shanahan to University of Florida non-story in 2002. |

Not too surprised with him going to Denver. Next question: Where does Tebow go? Back-up for Manning, or traded to a shitty team risking to build a team around him?
Dear Sports Writers, Enough with the LeBron James jokes, please. |

I'm a little surprised that Manning's coming to Denver. I thought SF, Tennessee and even Miami were more appealing to him. By going to Denver, it tells me that he and the Donkeys are both serious and committed to winning now. I hate fantasy football, but drafting DeMaryius Thomas for your WR might be a good idea. I'm bummed that Eddie Royal was shipped to Washington, last week, and won't be in on the fun. A little funny that the Donkeys got trounced from the playoffs by the Patriots. So to get over the Patriots hump, you go and bring in Peyton Manning?! I'd say Tebow goes to Miami. Trade him for a draft pick and get an RB for the Donkeys. Tebow was fun, but you always want to trade-up. Swapping Tebow for Manning is definitely a trade-up. If Tebow's gone, then who's the back-up? Gasp...Brady Quinn signed with KC! The real loser in the whole thing might be Alex Smith; who was already talking to Miami after he declined San Francisco's offer. |

Manning was officially introduced by the Donkeys with his own (ugly) orange jersey. I think I read somewhere, last year, that they're going with that as their primary jersey for 2012. Crap. Anyways, now it sounds like the JETS are interested in Tebow. Along with the Jaguars, Dolphins and... Packers (?) |

I'm not sold on Manning being 100%. The rumors from his throwing sessions haven't been great. Plus, the guy had 4 neck surgeries last year. It could be hit-poof-done in the first quarter of the first game. I understand you have to take your shot at Manning and everything but I think trading Tebow would be stupid too. Sure, Tebow sucks as a QB but the team believed in him and he did beat the Steelers last year. But I don't see why you ditch Tebow. You need Manning insurance. |

Can't turn around in Denver without hearing it, but Tebow is now the property of the New York Jets. Packaged with a 7th round pick for the Jets' 4th and 6th round picks. If I'm Manning and coming off surgery, first thing I do is take the returning Broncos offensive lineman out for steaks. With $96 million, I'd recommend Morton's, Shanahan's or Del Frisco's. All within a 10 minute drive of the Broncos' complex. Tebow beat the Chiefs in KC by completing two passes the entire game. I don't think you'll beat any other NFL team with that kind of luck. Why are they ditching him? To give him a fresh start and a chance to do his thing. Additionally, it tells all the Tebow-backers in Denver to shut up. "Te-bow" chants had been persistent since he arrived in 2010 and had to sit behind Kyle Orton. To string him along and go another season with that kind of BS again would not be a good fit. Out of respect for Tebow, they shipped him to New York. Oh, and Vegas bumped the Broncos' odds of winning the Super Bowl from 75-to-1 to 10-to-1 after Manning signed. Denver fans and the Quarterback Situation is a whole 'nother rant and explanation. They always think there's a solution, somewhere on the bench with the back-up QB and how that will save EVERYTHING (no matter how shitty the defense, running game or offense is). Goes all the way back to the 70's. Despite what they'll have you believe now, most Denver fans HATED John Elway until 1991 or so (the year he began running with his head down and steamrollered Joey Browner). "Play Kubiak" was a big reply to just about any problem the team had back in the day. |

Did you hear? So Tebow's praying last year to Jesus to help the Broncos win a Superbowl. Peyton Manning shows up in Denver and Tebow asks him, "What are you doing here?" Manning says, "Jesus called." |
