WWE Main Event - April 22nd 2014 Live from Hershey, PA Big E (Intercontinental Champion) vs Alberto Del Rio This match has happened so many times over the space of a year, but the one thing you can count on is that it will be a good match. The match starts off with Del Rio conecting with strikes and Big E hits a shoulder block. He also clotheslines him over the top rope and Rio hits a tornado DDT. Del Rio aplies a chinlock and Big E hits two clotheslines. Rio hits a big superkick but only gets a two count and Big E hits a belly to belly suplex. He also hits a running splash, which is the first time in a while I haven't seem Big E's opponent get his knees up. Del Rio hits a awsome enzigury in the corner and he goes for a Tornado DDT but Big E throws him off and hits the Big Ending to get the win. ** After the match Bad News Barrett appeared and says that Big E has been a horrible champion and that everyone in the crowd has no life. Hornswoggle vs El Torito My god they are actually continueing this rivalry. This poor excuse of a match starts off with Hornswoggle missing a splash and Torito rolls him up for a two count, dam I was hoping that would have been the finish. To make matters worse Torito aplies a chinlock and hits a dropkick. This match should have stopped right here because it feels like such a long match. Hornswoggle catapults him and hits a knee lift and a clothesline. Torito hits a crossbody off the top rope and hits another dropkick. Torito misses a moonsault and Hornswoggle hits a frog splash to get the win. Absolute classic match and I hope when I go and watch RAW and Smackdown in a few weeks in London that this awsome match is on the card! Easily *****! (Actual star Rating - DUD) Sheamus vs Titus O'Neil You know you are a jobber when the video package says Sheamus is in action next, poor Titus. The match starts off with strikes in the corner from Titus and Sheamus hits a powerslam. Titus conects with a big elbow and launches him into the barricade. Titus aplies a chinlock and runs into a big boot from Sheamus. I am shocked, Titus has lasted this long to be honest and Sheamus hits two clotheslines. He also conects with ten strikes to the chest and Titus hits a very nice followay slam which only gets a two count, but was a great nearfall. They exchange strikes until Titus hits a big boot and Sheamus hits a Brouge Kick to get the win and the story of the match was that at times I thought that Titus was going to win. ** Jimmy Uso (Tag Team Champion) vs Ryback The Main Event of Main Event is a member of each team squaring off in singles action and I am looking forward to hopefully seeing Rybaxel win the Tag Team Championship at Extreme Rules. The match starts off with a dropkick from Uso and he runs and splashes Ryback over the top rope. He conects with strikes until Ryback hits a shoulder block and starts slowing the pace down. Ryback hits a suplex and a vertical suplex and hits a spinebuster. He also hits a meathook clothesline and Uso is on the comeback and he conects with some strikes. Ryback cuts him off with a big boot and Uso hits a back body drop and a clothesline. Uso hits a insane kick to the head and also hits a Samoan Drop. He hits a crossbody off the top but only gets two and he also hits a superkick. Ryback clotheslines Uso off the apron and brings him back into the ring and hits the Shell Shock to get the win in a very good match to end the show. **1/2 Overal - 5/10 Apart from the awful Midget match I have nothing to complain about it was a solid hour of pro wrestling! |
