BREAKING NEWS

Just days before this Sunday's Ring Of Honor Best In The World Pay Per View, it has been confirmed that Sinclair Broadcast Station has unfortunately resigned from ownership of Ring Of Honor Wrestling. As of tonight, we are proud to announce that ROH is now owned by Wrestler Nigel McGuinness and he has this to say," Ring Of Honor to me is and has been my life and it always will be. I saw the oppotunity to buy the company, since this morning when it became official that Sinclair have resigned from ownership. I am not the type of guy to offer fake promises, but i do promise, i will take this great company to the top of the mountain of Professional Wrestling! I can also confirm with great pleasure that Ring Of Honor has a new TV deal, which i can say will change Ring Of Honor forever!" To find out what this blockbuster announcement will be, watch Ring Of Honor Best In The World 2014 live on PPV, Sunday June 22nd.

(Crowd cheers louder) Thank you for watching the first ever PPV and enjoy the show!" (ROH chants)

Future Of Honor - AR Fox vs Andrew Everret

This is the first ever Future of Honor match, which is where the winner of the match will gain a Ring Of Honor contract and a Television Championship match in the future. Both men get decent reactions and the Code Of Honor was abliged to and here we go. Some nice, crisp and fast paced chain wrestling starts us off and the crowd is red hot here in Nashville. Both men attempt a dropkick and miss, so both men nip up at the same time. Everret out of no where tries to roll him up but only gets one but he walks into a hurricanrana from Fox. Fox is now in control and he hits several suplexes and one highlight was a nice northern lights suplex, but only got a two count. Fox applies a chinlock and the crowd are getting behind Everret and as he gets out of the chinlock Fox pulls his hair and sticks another chinlock on. This time Everret gets out of it and sends Fox down to the floor and he hits a springboard shooting star press down to the floor! (ROH Chants) Everret slides him back into the ring and goes for the cover 1...2.. but Fox just gets his shoulder up. Everret climbs up to the top rope and signifies for the double moonsault, but Fox grabs his legs and climbs up to the top with him. Fox then hits a reverseranna of the top rope and the crowd are going bizzerk! (Holy S**T Chants) Fox shoots the half and hooks the leg 1...2.. but Everret just gets his shoulder up. Fox is in disbelief and he goes for a brainbuster but Everret knees him in the head and Everret hits a spiked DDT. Everret climbs to the top rope and goes for a double moonsault but Fox moves and Everret lands badly on his kneck and the crowd goes silent. Fox hits a 450 splash which gets the win and after the match Fox checks on Everret and he seems to be ok and they shake hands and Fox celeberates his win as he know has a contract and will recieve a Television Championship match!

Roderick Strong vs Cedric Alexander

Both men make there way to the ring and Roderick Strong has the rest of The Decade with him when Bobby Cruise, the Ring Of Honor ring announcer says," I have just recieved word that The Decade is band from ringside!" Roderick Strong does not look impressed and as the referee called for the Code Of Honor, Strong attacked Alexander and starts kicking and punching him in the corner. Strong then hits several shoulders in the croner and also conects with some very hard hitting chops. Strong tries to get a quick win with a roll up but Alexander pushes him off and sends him to the outside where he goes for a suicide dive but Strong kicks him in the face and goes back into the ring and 1...2. but Alexander gets his shoulders up. Strong is now firmly in control and he hits a nice backbraker and a slingshot suplex. Strong applies a chinlock and Alexander gets out of it and hits the ropes but Strong hits a picture perfect dropkick which stopped his momentum in a hurry. Strong applies a abdominal stretch and Alexander gets out of it by hitting a hip toss and he is now on the comeback and he hits two clotheslines and a hurricanrana which sends Roddy down to the floor. Alexander then hits a running flip over the top rope (ROH Chants) He also goes for a DDT on the apron but Strong back body drops him but Alexander lands on his feet and hits a DDT on the apron. He slides Strong back in and as he tries to get back in Adam Page comes out which distract Alexander and he walks into a Sick Kick from Strong and he covers him 1...2...3. Strong wins the match and celebrates on the top rope with the rest of the Decade.

Ring Of Honor Television Championship - Jay Lethal © vs Tommaso Ciampa vs Matt Taven

During Jay Lethals entrance he sent Truth Martini to the back and continued to make his way to the ring and Tommaso Ciampa got the best reception out of all three participants. The match starts off with all three men exchanging strikes and Lethal pushes Taven into Ciampa which sends both men to the outside and Lethal hits two suicide dives onto both of them and as he goes for the third, Ciampa pushes Taven out of the way and Lethal lands hard on the barricade. Ciampa then hits a double A spinebuster on the floor and throws Taven into the barricade. Lethal gets back up but he gets suplexed on the floor and Taven attacks Ciampa from behind. Taven launches him into the ring post face first and Ciampa is bleeding from the mouth. Lethal is still down on the floor and Taven is working on Ciampa with a variation of suplexes in the ring, which included a brainbuster but only got a two count. Lethal hits a double dropkick of the top and hits a Lethal Injection on Taven and he cover him 1…2.. but Ciampa brakes the cover up and goes for Project Ciampa but Lethal slides down him into a roll up and 1…2.. but Taven now breaks the cover and he hits a Falcon Arrow and dropkicks Ciampa which sends him down to the floor. He runs and hits the ropes as if he is going to do a suicide dive but Lethal stops him and hits the Lethal Combination and covers him and 1…2..3 and he retains the Ring Of Honor Television Championship!

Kevin Steen vs ACH

Kevin Steen gets a great reaction from the crowd in Nashiville and ACH gets the usual (ACH chants) The referee calls for the Code Of Honor and both men oblige and Steen pulls him into himself but ACH slides underneath and goes for a reverseranna but Steen holds on and runs into the turnbuckle! Steen picks him back up and just launches him high into the air with a big belly to belly suplex and he is just toying with ACH. Steen hits a suplex and a Half Nelson suplex and covers him 1…2. But ACH kicks out. Steen just continuesly kicks him on the floor and he goes for a back splash but ACH gets his knees up and he hits a enzigury which sends Steen down to the outside where ACH hits a running springboard flip over the top rope and down to the floor. (ACH Chants) On the outside and ACH picks him back up but Steen immediately hits a powerbomb onto the apron and then picks him up straight away and powerbombs him into the barricade and freakin powerbombs him again onto the floor! (This Is Awsome chants) Steen rolls ACH back into the ring and applies a abdominal stretch which is a wise move because it is still hurting the back because he is pushing him down via the back. ACH tries to escape but Steen knees him in the back and hits several nasty looking backbreakers. Steen slows the pace down by applying a chinlock and ACH gets out of it by hitting a jawbreaker and a running dropkick. Both men are down until the count of 8 where Steen goes for another powerbomb but whilst in mid air ACH turns around and hits a reverseranna and covers him 1..2.. but Steen just gets his shoulders up. ACH keeps his momentum going by hitting a dropkick and a tornado DDT which spikes Steen right on the head. ACH then goes up top where he hits a 450 splash and could he get the biggest win of his carear because he hooks them dam legs and 1..2.. but at the final second Steen gets his shoulders up. Both men are exhausted and are down on the floor and both men get up just as the count reaches 9 and they exchange some physical strikes but ACH has a burst of adrenaline because he starts kicking a chopping on Steen who doesn’t know what to do and ACH hits a German suplex but Steen no sells gets back up and hits a devastating clothesline and picks ACH up and hits a Package Piledriver and this is it because he hooks the leg and 1..2.. but ACH gets his shoulder up! (This Is Wrestling chants) Steen goes for a second Package Piledriver but ACH counters it by kicking him in the head with his free leg and the kick knocked Steen out! Do it ACH make yourself famous kid because he climbs up to the top and hits a second 450 Splash! He shoots the half hooks the leg 1…2..3! ACH has won the match and his music hits and the crowd goes wild (ACH Chants/That Was Awsome Chants) The commentators clam that this could be match of the year and we still have more to come!

Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Championship - ReDRagon © vs Bad Influence

This is the return match for Christopher Daniels as he hasn’t be in Ring Of Honor since 2011 and this is the first time in ROH for one Frankie Kazarian. Bad Influence get a fantastic reception from the live audience in Nashville and ReDRagon get Boo’s. This World Tag Team Championship Match starts off with Bad Influence in control and they are keeping each other fresh by frequently tagging in and out. Kazaraian hits a nice DDT and Daniels hits a nice foot stomp of the second rope onto Bobby Fish. Fish tries to stop Daniels hitting him again and pleads for him to stop and he pokes him in his eyes which lets Fish tag in Kyle O’riley who hits a nice T-Bone suplex and connects with several kicks onto the defenceless Christopher Daniels. Kyle cuts the ring in half which is sound tag team strategy and he hits a nice Northern Lights suplex and bridges 1..2 but Kazarian comes in to break the cover and as the referee is distracted this allows ReDRagon to take advantage and double team Daniels in the corner. Bobby Fish teases Kazarian and he turns around and Daniels hits a enzigury and Daniels crawls over to Kazarian and he makes the hot tag to Kazarian. Kazarian clears house by hitting two clotheslines and a springboard tornado DDT, which sends Bobby Fish down to the floor. Kazarian then goes for a slingshot crossbody down to the floor but Fish catches him and hits a spinebuster into the barricade and out of no where O’riley runs and jumps of the apron and connect with a dropkick onto Kazarian. ReDRagon celebrate on the floor but Daniels who is in the ring hits a split legged moonsault of the top rope and down to the floor. (ROH Chants) Daniels slides O’riley back into the ring and Daniels is on a flurry of offense as he hits several dropkicks and a spinning belly to back suplex. Fish comes back in to try and stop him but Daniels sends him down to the floor and Kazarian just runs into the ring and then runs back out because he hits a suicide dive onto Fish. This leaves Daniels and O’riley in the ring and Daniels goes for a Gibson Driver but O’riley applies a Gilitene, but Daniels runs and spears him into the turnbuckle and this left O’riley on the floor and Daniels hits the Best Moonsault Ever and he hooks the leg 1..2..3! Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian have won the Ring Of Honor World Tag Team Championship and as they are celebrating on the top rope, The Decade come out and they start beating down on both Daniels and Kazarian!

Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Championship - Adam Cole © vs Michael Elgin

This is the main event for the first ever Ring Of Honor Pay Per View and the match has a very big fight feel to it as both men start circling each other. The match starts off with a hard collar and elbow tie up with Elgin out powering Cole by sending him over to the corner turnbuckle where he slaps Cole and Cole goes to slap him but Elgin ducks and hits a belly to belly suplex and he goes to hit a Deadlfit German suplex, but Adam Cole manages to roll out of the ring and Elgin chases him all the way around the ring and Cole slides back into the ring and when Elgin gets back into the ring, Cole stomps him and hits him with some very vicious strikes. Cole is now firmly in control of this World Championship match and he hits a snap suplex as well as a Canadian Destroyer and he goes for a cover and 1.. but Elgin kicks out straight away and he goes crazy and hits several bucklebombs and a spinning sitdown powerbomb and he is going to win the World Championship in quick fashion, 1..2.. but Adam Cole kicks out. Elgin picks him back up to his feet and he goes for a second sit down powerbomb but Cole slides down and hits a superkick which sends Elgin down to the outside. Cole then goes for a suicide dive but Elgin catches him in a suplex position in mid air and he hold him there for ten seconds and hits a vertical suplex on the floor. He rolls Adam Cole back into the ring and he hits a discuss back slap and a Double A spinebuster and hooks the leg 1..2 but Adam Cole kicks out. Elgin tries to pull Cole back out but Cole dropkicks his knee and hits a shining wizard and both men are down. Both men get up by the count of 7 and they exchange strikes until Elgin ducks a superkick and attempts a powerbomb but Cole rolls down his back and rolls him up but Elgin rolls straight out of it and he hits a deadlift bucklebomb and a second spinning sit down powerbomb and he covers him 1…2.. but at the final chance Cole kicks out (Holy S**T Chants) Cole gets back to his feet and Elgin goes for a bicycle kick but Cole rolls out of the ring and he runs around and the ring and Elgin follows but when Cole gets back into the ring so does Elgin and Cole hits the rope and goes for a dropkick, but Elgin holds onto his legs and lifts him up and hits a bucklebomb again and when Cole falls forward Elgin hits a third spinning Sitdown Powerbomb and hooks the leg 1…2…3! Michael Elgin has won the Ring Of Honor World Championship for the first time in his carear and he celebrates for three to five minutes and he is close to tears when he hoists the belt above his head on the top rope!
