Balls passed away today, according to Candido's brother and Tommy Dreamer. I always felt he was a little underrated during his ECW days. By the time he hit the E, though, you could see his lifestyle taking a toll.

Here's one last WHOOOOOOAAAAAA BALLS!

I'm too hefty for my slacks. The zippers off it's tracks. I've stretched it to the maa-a-a-a-x.

RIP Balls. Hopefully it's not something as depressing and low as Axl Rotten OD'ing in a Mcdonalds bathroom.

Yeah, he was underrated during his ECW days. I kinda' feel that his "BALLS" crowd chant every time he punched somebody was a carryover from "SHAH" Hack Myers. When ECW came on TNN in 1999, I remember thinking: "why don't we see Balls Mahoney more"?

Worth sharing-- Mahoney singing his own theme song (with crowd noise added in):

The only time I ever saw him live was at a WWECW house show in July 2006. I forget who his opponent was, but he lost to one of the developmental jabroni type roster members (maybe Mike Knox). There were enough ECW die-hard fans in the building to give him an ovation afterwards and he seemed genuinely touched by it.

RIP, dude.
