I almost posted this in the "comments that don't need a thread" conversation, but I feel like this does deserve it's own page. It's 2017. Kayfabe is mostly dead, and social media has made access to the product much more simple and made readily available. Interacting with wrestlers has become much easier, with social media services and a never-ending series of conventions/meet and greets. Let's not even get started with how half the world of wrestling has a podcast. Even with all this "cats out of the bag" stuff, it's shocking to see some wrestling personalities try and continue to kayfabe or knock "insider" knowledge. Someone like an Al Snow will complain about fans knowing too much and not enjoying the product, yet these are the fans who pay to see and get his autograph, or pay for his shoot interviews, and the list goes on and on. Same for Bruce Prichard. I love his podcast, but at times it's like he's bitching about insider stuff (and Meltzer) because people didn't need to know, yet he's doing 3 hour conversations giving insider information and stories! I agree, sometimes you need to sit back and enjoy the product and not over-think things, but don't complain about the people who are willing to put the money in your product because they care enough to want to know more, and want to hear stories of your career beyond "I worked here, end of story." |

What I find really annoying are the guys that think they can still work you instead of you just playing along because you want to. Also, I find it really annoying at the guys that get butthurt by what they consider insider terms like face and heel. I also get annoyed at guys like Jim Cornette that go on these huge rants about exposing the business when he's done more to expose the business than almost anyone else. The truth is, wrestling has been exposed for something like 50-60 years. None of this stuff is really new to the internet era. |

Your use of "exposing" is quite timely, seeing as how he exposed his "lil' Corny", recently. |

I love Corny, but I'm in awe that the man hasn't suffered a massive heart attack from his temper and poor diet. |

Cornette's going to be here when the sun burns out, complaining about Kenny Omega wrestling a sex doll, Joey Ryan's dick flip spot, and the Young Guns using too many superkicks. |

"Motherfucker." Must be said in Bruce Prichard's impersonation of Cornette. |

I thought he complained about the little girl match the most. I don't know if I've heard him talk about the blowup doll. I mean Cornette totally didn't wrestle a Ninja Turtle in SMW. |

Can I say, Joey Ryan doing the dick suplex on Mick Foley was hilarious. Also the Young Bucks superkicking that 6 year old still makes me laugh. |
