with guild housing being talked about quite a bit over the last couple months/years ... has there been any thought of guild raiding? ... this feature was really popular in City of Hero's. ....... Alot of people look at the free 4 ranks once you hit 20 and epic difficulty means we will never see epic levels (21-100) can we get confirmation that DDO will never see these things 1) epic levels 2) spell seeds 3) epic only missions/raids ........ Epic difficulty is currently a pretty exclusive club ... alot of good players cannot complete epic missions or raids .... assuming higher levels are never coming to DDO ... will there be additional ways to gain the items that currently are only available through epic mission running (such as TR's heart of wood) or are these items simply there to help the strong get stronger ? ........ are there any plans to include new adventure areas? ... all the updates to date since launch of mod 9 and DDO:U have been small mission packs no adventure areas but i have seen alot of gates that have no way to open for instance in the twelve behind the new inn mission there is a path that ends at a gate which looks like a forest which could be a great way to introduce druids. ........ The biggest rumor to hit lately has been the potential of Pale masters FORMS to be the paved road for druids wild shape and potentially the polymorph spell as well ...... how much of the rumor is true and how likely will it be to see Druids and/or polymorph in DDO in the next 4-5 updates (aka rest of the year) ........ With the success of risia and the current egg hunt ... what is the likely hood of more of these kinds of events happening more frequently like two or three times a year and with different events hosted by different houses rather then always being harbor and market (i ask because harbor and market are already high traffic areas so a "Acid games" or hunt type event could be done in house P or a Holy games in house J or D) you know to promote the other areas of DDO. ??? |

I realize it's probably too late for this session but we were talking in quest on one of the first guild runs on Orien... I suggested that Turbine look into perhaps giving guest passes to VIPS periodically to pass out to those who may need them as a means of getting them hooke... I mean interested in adventure packs. Would that be something for ATD? Beet/Fillet/Euben |

please dont add this question to the list if it is already happened by the time the ask the dev's interview has been done. 1) will we be seeing harm scrolls make there way into vendors now that we have pale masters .... if not will a self healing mechanism be added to pale master abilities? 2) In the beginning we had access to all sorts of scrolls ... some where taken away with the reason being that they made it too easy to solo and the game was trying to focus on party play ... will these scrolls be returned to there vendors now that the game has taken a more solo friendly attitude? (eg firewall scrolls ... blade barrier scrolls .. harm ... etc)? |

I have more of a suggestion then a question for the Dev's. Would it be possible to introduce into the game the ability to use healing/repair kits just before you shrine for a bonus to your heal or repair skill before you shrine. It would make them a bit more needed in the game as everyone just tends to wand someone or use some sort of healing ability if they were at negative hit points. I know that I would keep some on my characters just for emergency use. Ulfgaar |

How about having a way to know what Characters are of the same Account. Something like a way to distinguish Alts that are actually the same player. A possible solution may be a static/required Surname. Not sure how hard this would be, but I'm guessing not so much as MyDDO does this. Maybe we could have a tab when you "inspect" a Character that names all their Alts. Or when you hover on a Character's name in the "Who" Social tab, have a popup that lists Alts. |

I agree ... COH (city of heros) had two different friends lists to solve that issue quite well global friends list - this list had to be ok'd by both parties but once the person was added you would know when he was online and what server (not what character just his global name for instance if i was on a character I had just rolled up and samius wanted to do a hound and wanted to know if hack could intimitank he could look on his global friends list and see i was online on another server but still could send me a tell then i could tell him yes or no from another server) and regular friends list which would act much like our current one where you could see the persons characters from that server only. I would love it if they included that kind of system to DDO that way if i want to have characters in multiple guilds at least my guild mates could find me with relative ease even if i was on DDObuildguild and not on sarlona at all. |

The "Friends" list definatley needs an overhaul. It would be nice to have an OPT-IN system for sharing your alts. It would also be nice to have an OPT-IN system for finding friends of friends (like LinkedIn). On both of these the key word is OPT-IN. I would like to know what the devs are thinking along these lines. They of all people should see the need for keeping alts secret. ![]() |

Hello Jerry I figured id finally ask the devs something that has been on my mind for the longest. To the developers of the game that I most enjoy, do you have any future plans towards high level (I will not call it end game). But what are your plans if any for people who enjoy level 20 and wish to utilize their capped powerful characters outside epic. While the epic sentiment is appreciated reskinned quests weve run for many years now will not be enough reason to keep our high levels signing in and I would love to know if there are any plans for additional high level content that will give us who enjoy level 20 a reason to keep playing them. I know at this point additional levels are probably not in the works, but perhaps a system where certain achievement based benefits can be unlocked with our high levels that make it feel like epic is worth it outside the augmenting weapons and items. Perhaps have it tie into the future guild housing and other perks? I just want to feel like getting all my girls to level 20 wont really mean the end of the road. As someone with many alts now I would love to say that getting them all there is not possible but out of 18 alts 10 are already at 20 and the rest wont be too far behind no matter how much I pace them. I enjoy the game that much and I enjoy the process of making them stronger via leveling and running raids. Is there any hope for players who maybe in the same boat as myself? Isn't that a lot of what they are already doing? We have new quests that open with a c/n/h/epic(for 20s) settings. I think this is going to be more of the norm as that way it can be new for a wider range of levels. Yes I want more quests that are level 20+ on normal with out the epicing of the quest but that mind set is out there. I would like to know if in the quest design, could/would revising jumping the level of the quest more then +1 would be better now with the level cap being 20? Like that one marketplace quest. And the hints we are getting with the guild housing sound like there is a leveling system of a kind with a kind of achievements. |

As the Dev's said before there are no plans to raise the cap. That does not mean there will be nothing to do. I am sure there will be new adventure packs as well as they are at least putting in a effort to let you run some new content on Epic right away. Obviously more people can change ideas. I wouldn't see any future beyond 20 for years. For now I am simply working on True Reincarnates on my Favorite Ranger. He is now on #3 and just hit level 5 today. The 4,378,500 exp you need to cap seems to keep me busy for now. But I'm not a Dev....they may have something up their sleeve

What I'd really like to ask the devs is how messed up their database(s) really are? I am a long time dev and from time to time they say things (or things happen whether on purpose or accident) that to my mind really shouldn't happen unless something is really wrong. Take skinning for example. This shouldn't be an issue at all. The item should have a link to a graphic asset that gets rendered over your avatar when you equip it. Skinning "should" be a simple matter of moving the link. Even if they took the "easy" way out and embedded the graphic stuff, it still should be a simple matter to just pull the attributes off and generate new armor based on that. Again "simple" but not as simple. So what I want to know is why this is hard! I guess that is a more "Ask the Architect" but still. I know developers and I am wondering how much of the blame on "the tech" is something else (more likely manpower). |

did they re-do it? because I remember no actually liking any of the bases in CoX. the CoX way of upgrading the bases sucked and took way too much time. |

I believe what Stabbity is talking about is the ability for "my guild" to raid "your guild's" house in PvP (12 on 12). In an effort to boost your own guild's "rank" as the best on whatever server. Sorry Stabbity if I understood you wrong on that. And if so, this idea still holds some water I think. |
