What did people think of the Interview with Fernando? I appologize for the far from excellent sound quality. It is loud on the floor at these Conventions. Forunately, this year, there were not any really loud booths near by.

I liked it. I wanted to call in from the show floor to say hi on Saturday, but we were just way too busy to do it.

I am becoming a celebrity pretty fast, ever since I called in to the show.

At any rate, I was a bit nervous and my voice didn't go through too well. Ugh...I'll try to be more direct and less beat around the bush in the future.

Epic "lol" for ..."jump his ass outside" for the art work.

Another thing was I had so many ideas I wanted to run by you Trent, but when I realized it had to just be one, so I went with the Favored Soul topic.

ONE LAST thing - can you name all the people in the DDO Cast. I know both of the trent's, but I am kinda confused by the rest. Like Egread (SP) with premium perspective, etc. Thanks in advance.

I was glad you called in and your voice came though just fine. There is always some delay in the call which makes it a little tricky.

The DDOCast crew kind of rotates.

Recent segment folks
Ecgrick - Premium Perspective
Shamgar - Epic education (fairly new to DDOCast)
Skaggy - Does the poetry

Recent Common Guests
Coldin - Friend of the show, plays on Thelanis and other servers
Samius - From DDO Cocktail hour
Ros - Guild leader in my guild "the madborn" who we rope into coming on to comment on play tactics

There is a large cast of alumni and frequent contributors though, more than I can easily name off the top of my head.
Steiner is a long time friend of the show for instance and often wrangles prizes for us.
Lessa of course is a big contributor and now does DDO Cocktail hour.
We had Rhebus on recently. He used to be on more often but is still around.

But the history of the show is that anyone who decides to help out is part of the family. :)

Oh, and Anne is right about the intent behind the phrasing posthumous in the DDO Screenshot of the Week!

I went back and listened to the first episode of DDO Cast, man this show seems to have come a long way.

Hah! Yes. I'm sorry, and you're right. Took me a little while to get into the groove of it all.

From a cast of 1 to a cast of dozens. I would imagine that once the ball was rolling it got easier to put the show together, topics, segments and all of that.

I'll probably go through and watch various episodes. The funniest part(s) about Episode 1?

How Jerry had a "disclaimer" moment where he went on about he wasn't affiliated with Turbine, etc etc. I never thought a podcast would have to worry about legal issues.

How serious Jerry was (agree with Steiner), that in itself cracked me up several times. It was almost professional and sync'd to only cut to important parts. VERY, SERIOUS, STUFF, DUDE.

I enjoyed even an episode though from 3 years ago.

I remember at the time wanting to make sure people didn't think it was a Turbine-sponsored podcast, so I had that disclaimer. Since there hadn't been one up until then, I wasn't really sure what people would think it was, and didn't want people thinking it was a Turbine thing.

Oh, and I still take DDO seriously! :)
