For general discussions about what Wii games you've bought and are playing (in retail, this is the retail forum!), here's your thread!

I recently picked up a copy of Fragile Dreams on discount. I like the game - it's simple, yes, but the story is so achingly melancholic... It's an experience the Wii hasn't got many similar to at this stage.

Glad I didn't pay full price for it, but I'm glad I have a copy.

Goldeneye Wii online is amazing, and I've actually sold my copy of Black Ops PS3 because of playing Goldeneye more Lol.

If that game still has an active online community in a few weeks, I'll look at getting it myself. Just worried bout the drop off rate, as I'm not really a fan of single player fpses

I'm waiting for Conduit 2 myself. Everything I've seen about it so far has been positive. :3

Hi im new here :D

Im looking forward to the Conduit 2 as well. I was a big fan of the first, although the online was buggy.

I still need to pick up a copy of Donkey Kong Country, too...

Not much on the Wii front, but I plan to play through Okami soon.

I'm starting to get bored of the wii. Epic mickey was pretty cool, but other than that, there's been no new games i really want.

I don't think there are any more games coming that i want to play, either. It's all 3DS for me now :D

People still play Wii?

Typical Nintendo...instantly abandon old hardware the second new hardware is even announced. Not that I've had anything less than great experience with the 3DS so far...except when it turns off 3 minutes into Monkeyball cause I forgot to turn off the Wifi.... (WTF NINTENDO...worst handheld launch-problem I've ever seen.)
most recent game I've made: Quest Against Monsters (demo)
Project status: defunct (lost it in a hard drive crash a few months ago

Haven't there been worse problems? The DS Lite hinge cracks? The fact that the 3DS damages its own top half whenever you close it? I'm sure there's more...

That said, I'm actually playing a fair bit of Wii lately. It's mostly to get into the Zelda mood by playing through the old games (in preparation for OoT 3D).

you would have to be really, really rough with the console for the top screen to damage itself when you close it.

Take a bit of care with the 3DS, and you won't have any problems whatsoever.

I've got a Wii, but of my 4 systems (pc, ps3, 360 and Wii - 4 if you count psp) - it's probably my least-played. Kids love it, and I've been fiddling around on it - recently beating Metroid: Other M. I've got a few titles on my backlog of games to play on it like Dead Space Extraction and Silent Hill and Kirby's Epic Yarn, but they've been getting bumped down the list a bit lately

I still play a bunch of my games but haven't bought anything for it recently. I am one of those people who didn't see anything wrong with Metroid: Other M.

@Layton - I really enjoyed Other M - gave it a pretty good review on my blog.

I have several games on my Wii, but not many I'm playing heavily at the moment.

Is anyone looking forward to Kirby's Return to Dreamland? The four player co-op thing sounds great, and being able to take control of Dedede and Meta Knight sounds interesting.

I'd also like to say I'm hyped for Xenoblade, but being in the west and all... :P It's been a bit of a drought on the Wii side of things and hopefully Kirby followed by Zelda will satiate temporarily.

You know, Kirby's return to Dreamland looks solid, but we still have Epic Yarn I have to play, lol. More than likely that and Zelda will get picked up eventually, but I don't know that it'll be a first-day grab sort of title for me.

oooh, kirby games always brings back good memories. I remember being laughed at by *ahem* somebody who shall remain nameless for suggesting that return to dreamland could break new ground in kirby and be somewhat challenging. Very keen to discover if does provide a challenge.

That being said, I think Owen would make a spectacular Bond.

Personally I found Xenoblade to be nothing spectacular. It's a good JRPG, but nothing better than what you can get on the PS3.

As for playing Wii games, there's still a back catalogue I need to work though, but aside from Dragon Quest X, I don't anticipate buying any new Wii game's moving forwards.

Agreed, but the fact that Xenoblade is basically the only game of its kind on the Wii makes it special. Not every Wii owner has a PS3 as well - speaking from experience here. I immensely enjoy it at the moment (about 4 hours in). Bought it without knowing anything about it (the Special Edition was rather cheap and got me one of those nice Classic Controller thingies) and it really surprised me.
