Good info. Demons souls was an odd game, 'cause I blew through the first half, and the 2nd half kept kicking my ass. just seemed like the difficulty spiked on me. I'll be interested in seeing how long it takes you to beat. :D

After watching streams of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, I must say the second game really does seem easier. I might just jump straight into that one instead of playing the first.

EDIT: Also, is my avatar showing up for anyone else? It should be a green frog character with a yellow backround and some hard to see things on top.

I see it sometimes, and then at other times it's your previous avatar. Weirdness.

Isn't that typical of Demon's Souls, though? I thought it gauged your success rate and increased or decreased the difficulty accordingly. If you did really well, it made the next world a bit more difficult, and visa versa.

Wait, now I'm thinking it was the opposite: the worse you did, the harder it got. Or maybe that's only if you lost all your souls... I'm confused. Forget I said anything.

I'm excited for Arkham City, though I promised myself I wouldn't buy another game until I build my new PC. Every time I'm compelled to buy a new title, I vowed to put another $10 towards my computer. I'm at $60 so far (from the last two weeks); at this rate, I'll have my computer by the end of the month! Haha!

Yeah, it was the second one. The worse you did, the harder the game got because of those world tendency things.

Brutal game, Demon's Souls.

Well, I finally got a job (after looking for, what, two, maybe three years?), so I'll have a PS3 by Holloween. I plan to get either Demon's Souls or Dark Souls along with it.

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction comes to mind. I'll also probably get inFamous, too. That looks really good. Then there are some PSN Must Gets.

Other titles I intend to get but won't get right away:

Resistance Dual Pack
Resistance 3
Uncharted Dual Pack
Uncharted 3
Killzone 2
Killzone 3
Gran Turismo 5
Atelier Rorona
Atelier Totori
Valkyria Chronicles
Folklore
Bleach: Resurrecion
Disgaea 4
Yakuza 3
Yakuza 4
Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny
Sengoku Basara 3
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time
inFamous 2
Eternal Sonata

I can't really think of anything else I'd want that are exclusive. Except maybe some Move games.

Not a bad list at all (congrats on the job, too!)

No Final Fantasy XIII, though? ;-)

Cuz I already played it and beat it for the Xbox 360.:P In fact, with a few exceptions, I intend to only get exclusives on the PS3, since I like to play with my friends and they all have 360s.

Anyways, I feel like a kid with Xmas drawing near. I'm so giddy I can't sleep. The job's pretty good, too, though I think I have to work on weekends (which is fine, gives me something to do and I get more money that way). At least I have a good reason to wake up in the morning now. :D

Man, I keep forgetting FFXIII was on Xbox as well. Stupid me.

Yeah, the PS3 was a really exciting purchase for me as well. I love that console, these days my (retail) collection is almost entirely JRPGs :D

What job did you get?

Yeah, in addition to those I'm interested in a few others but I'm not sure if I really want to get them. And there some games that aren't out yet (Tales of Graces f, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Ni no Kuni, Sly 4) which really seal the deal.

As for the job, I'm a dishwasher at a little place down the street. The hours are nice, the pace is great and the people are nice. Not to mention the location is perfect. I couldn't ask for more from my first job ever.:)

Good list, my friend! It certainly looks like you've got most of your bases covered for the exclusive titles. Don't forget there are quite a number of PSN Exclusive titles to download, like Flower, Red Johnson's Chronicles, WipEout HD, Under Siege, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken (which is turning out to be absolutely stellar -- review later today!) or even the upcoming Journey. Lots of downloadable fun to be had on the PSN.

Really? I thought that looked terrible when I saw the trailer. I'll have to read your review. Does it have a demo?

And yeah, I haven't forgotten about PSN:

Wipeout HD + Fury (Huge fan of Pure and Pulse, so I can't wait to play this)
Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls
Arcana Hearts 3 (HUGE fighting fan, and this is a HUGE fighting game)
PixelJunk Eden
PixelJunk Shooter
PixelJunk Shooter 2
FlOwer
Gundemonium Collection
Soldner X
Soldner X-2

And anything else exclusive that has a demo. And then there's the PSOne Classics and the PS2 Classics. God, so many games! @_@

It does indeed, my friend, and it's well worth a try. I'll get more in-depth in my review but suffice it to say that this is the most fun I've had with a game in a long time.

BTW, is Dungeon Defenders really sluggish for anyone else? It feels like I'm going through water when I play. Makes the game really boring.

I don't think so. I think it's slower paced than people might have expected, but sluggish? Not really.

Then again, I'm a hardcore strategy gamer, so slow-paced and tactical is right in my comfort zone.

So far I'm having a blast with Dungeon Defenders. One of the best tower defense games I've played in a very long time. And that's before getting into coop.

After looking online, I think it's running at 30 frames per second, which is sluggish by today's standards.

Eh. As long as the game doesn't stutter, frames per second doesn't worry me. The human eye can only see 24 frames per second anyway.

Not that the game isn't slow-paced, because it is, but I haven't noticed any frame rate problems as yet.
