Don't have one of these (would love to though), but the Xbox 360 deserves a thread too. :-)

I have an Xbox 360. it's ok, but I haven't really played anything since Halo: Reach on it.

I love my Xbox, but mostly for XBLA. I have over 40 games total. I especially like the SNK fighting games, like Mark of the Wolves and King of Fighters '98 Ultimate Match.

Hey Mickey, do you have Limbo? That's one XBLA game I really, really wanted to try.

My 360 was the first of this current generation of consoles I picked up. I've got a couple now - one RRoD but a buddy was able to fix it so I play it back in my computer room.

I've got quite a few games I've played for it (though one thing I like about retail games is the ability to trade them in at Gamestop toward new games) so my collection changes quite a bit. I'm playing Castlevania Lords of Shadow right now from the retail side. Xbox live I've been playing Snoopy, Castvania, Defense Grid and Puzzle Quest 2.

Limbo - I've played that one. i liked it - I had a big review on it on my blog if you want me to look it up and don't mind me posting the link here?

How is the new Castlevania (the XBLA one, not Lords of Shadow)? I've heard some very mixed opinions from people, but the main complaint seems to be that they charge you for all those extra chapters.

I like the overall game - it has an interesting throwback feel to it (of course, they designed some level with the older games in mind). I haven't had anyone online to play it with, so I wish there was some sort of local co-op so my son and I could play together. The layouts and difficulty are definitely built with multiplayer in mind. I lucked out - that game was heavily discounted, as were the bonus levels about 2 weeks ago so I got it all pretty cheaply all things considered. There's an interesting sort of rpg vibe to it though, where you're constantly getting upgraded gear and such.

I have a pretty used 360 and it's still chugging along. I've been in a pretty vicious cycle of Mass Effect. I'll play the first and branch my story into the 2nd and by the time I'm done with the 2nd game I want to play the first again, then I'll want to continue the story into 2 and back again to 1

I actually just started playing through the second game again. I had to boot it up to do some research for an article I'm writing for The Escapist (checking out the comic intro thing that they released for the PS3 version) and got hooked once again. I'd been meaning to play through the first and then the second in succession but, as soon as I got through the intro comic and made the choices I wanted, I said "Screw it!" and started playing.

Such a great game. I definitely understand getting stuck in a loop. It's just so good!

Ha yeah it's hard to stop a playthru once you get going. It'll be great once the 3rd one comes out and I can play what Bioware considers a perfect good and bad role through-out the series :o

Mass Effects 1 & 2 are still 2 of my favorite games. I don't generally replay video games very often, but both have had 2 playthroughs and #1 I started a 3rd I just didn't get around to finishing. Very excited for #3

All these previews of Prey 2 made me pop in the first Prey. Still fun as heck and great use of Don't Fear the Reaper.

Too bad Prey 2 isn't really a sequel but it still looks pretty awesome in it's own right. Not sure why they even need to incorporate Prey into it why not just call it something else?

Long awaited double post! Old World Blues for Fallout New Vegas came out this week and by far the best of the 3 that have been released so far. Really great Sci-Fi horror movie of the week type stuff B) Large area to explore and plenty of new weapons specially for robots which are really nice to have even in the Mojave Wasteland. Only problem is there are only 15 or so stimpaks to get thru the whole dlc. I had 130 going in and left with 40ish, so on a whole I was okay but this isn't a mission for early characters.

I have to admit, New Vegas disappointed me some (though I played it on the ps3). I never got into it quite the same way I got into Fallout 3, plus a game-breaking bug sort of ruined the experience for me about 30 hours into it. That said, glad to hear you are enjoying the DLC - I remember how eagerly I grabbed all of the DLC for #3 when it came out.

Fallout 3 was better for me too and all of the 5 dlcs were fantastic. Even Anchorage had it's place because of the equipment you got out of it. Yet I don't see myself recommending people to pick up Dead Money really. The Gamebryo engine never did like the PS3 it seemed, so I'm glad Bethesda is finally moving away from it. I am looking forward to how that Creation Engine works out.

Agreed on the fallout 3 expansions. Brotherhood of steel was the best imo - simply because it let you continue your game, added levels and perks. That was one of the best examples of DLC at its best imo. But I enjoyed anchorage as well - for the same reasons. That suit and the weapons you get were sweet.

So From Dust, one of my most anticipated titles of the entire year, has been released. Of course, much to my chagrin, it's only been released on 360. Here I was hoping to get it for PS3 but no, Ubisoft has to go and do a deal with Microsoft to get it available there first.

Oh well. Could be worse, I suppose. It gave me a reason to boot up my 360 for the first time in months.

Anyone else as excited for this game as I am?

Can't say I've heard much of that game but it does look pretty in depth. Never been one for god games but it certainly has an appealing look to it.

It is always good to rotate your machine usage as well B)

There have been a few recent 360 games getting good reviews - from dust, bastion - seems like there was some other one recently like tumbler or something... made more use of my points getting map packs for halo reach half off this weekend myself as I just grabbed a glut of halo games the other day too, :)
