In collaboration with MonkeyPaw games, we are able to offer up a new competition to win one of three packs containing not one, but two great Japanese import games: Yakiniku Bugyau and Rapid Angel. These games are available for download through the U.S PlayStation Network, but European and Australians (and anywhere else in the world) is also most welcome to enter - just create a second, 'dummy' PSN account based in the U.S if you win; one of the best things about the PlayStation 3 is that it is not region locked at all. (If you need help with that, just let us know and we'll provide a step-by-step for you). Anyway, to enter the competition, you'll need to do two things. 1) Follow MonkeyPaw Games on twitter: http://twitter.com/monkeypawgames 2) Sign up for these here forums, post your twitter username here and let us know which Japan-only game you would most like to see released out west. Winners will be drawn at 9pm, July 25 (Sydney, Australia), and will be notified (with their game codes) though these forums. Good luck with the competition, and keep your eyes on both Digitally Downloaded and Otaku Gaming for full reviews of both games very shortly! |

I'll go ahead and enter - I love the contests here (though I keep coming back several times a day for the content). Twitter handle is going to be a shock, but: @Chalgyr As always - thanks for the contests and for the forums! |

Hi Chalgyr, We work hard to please :-) Thanks must go to the lovely developers and publishers for providing us with the content for competitions, though! You missed a bit for the competition though ;-) If you could pick a game that's been released in Japan but not out west, which game would that be? I'll go, since I forgot to do myself at the start - I'd definately get Love Plus on the 3DS translated. Ignoring the fact it's a 'dating game' as such, it's actually an intelligent and creative game with a lot of play value to it, and (unlike many Japanese dating games) it's 'perverted' at all. In fact, the DS original game was demonstrated at a Japanese interactive art exhibition at a gallery while I was over there last year. For good reason, I felt. |

I'm going to pass on this one, but feel free to follow @darth_careful if you'd like tiny amounts of unmitigated drivel to be fed to you several times daily

Ah, I did miss that line in there - Thanks WaltzIT. Hmm, did Last Story get a release outside of Japan? I was really looking forward to that coming out for the Wii in North America - but no luck apparently. ![]() And Darth - you are now being stalked on Twitter.

Oh, what a great giveaway! I'm following them now, my Twitter name is @apricotsushi (imaginative, I know) I read your review of Yakiniku Bugyau, and it looks like such a fun game! But it'll probably be all I can do to keep from salivating excessively while playing ![]() As for a game I'd like to see released in the west... Well, there are too many right now, really! I just recently did a post at Video Game Writers on my top import pics for this summer: http://videogamewriters.com/essential-gami...-releases-15863 Er... Well... If I had to pick one I guess I'd say Monster Hunter Diary G! I'll probably just import it myself anyway, but I think that'd be a great contender for a Western release, since it has a lot of Animal Crossing-like elements |

Is that the chibi spinoff franchise with the focus on the cats? I love the look of those games when I see screens etc in Famitsu.
