Paradox Interactive impressed us with its recent grand strategy title, Supreme Ruler: Cold War.

(review here: http://www.digitallydownloaded.net/2011/07...-cold-war.html)

The publisher has been good enough to provide us with five copies of the game to give away to our loyal readers.

To go in the draw, all you have to do is a simple, single tweet.

Jump on to Twitter and retweet the following comment:

The world craves for a leader. At last, my time has come. @srcoldwar @pdxinteractive @digitallydownld

While you're here, why not post on this thread letting us know which twitter person you are and let us know what you would do as world leader

The contest runs to August 5, 9 pm Sydney, Australian time. Get in early!

Also, we like penguins. Like those from madagascar.

Another excellent chance at a free game people.

That being said, I think Owen would make a spectacular Bond.

This game looks amazing - very good deal gang!

@Chalgyr

What would I do with my world power at the moment? I could go with a nice typical answer like World Peace, but let's do something about these heat waves. Maybe erect a ginormous umbrella over Michigan right now because I am not built for this heat wave we've had this week...

I peaked at puppies. It's been a long week :(

Actually, that's made me realise that if I did rule the world I'd do ... nothing. Nowt. Nada. Squiddly-boo-bananas. You'll find me on the beach playing games on my laptop. Let the puppies make all the decisions! It's about time they earned their biscuits. Muhahahaha!

me: @darth_careful, as usual

(edit) and it's good to see BattleGoat's response to your review. Nobody likes running a marathon between wars. I bet you feel all warm and fuzzy inside now, don't you?

hahaha. Battlegoat have always been preety good about such things.

Its funny actually, more people who have responded object (not against the comments, they were pretty accurate :P) to the physical excercise of running a marathon then the whole global warming thing.

Fuzzy feeling strictly a one time thing. Too much fuzz seems....uncomfortable.

What do the puppies have to do to earn a schmacko's?

hmm. as much as I love winning stuff, I guess I'll pass on this one. pretty sure I would not play this too much anyway - especially with Sengoku on the horizon.

(and the stay-at-home-dad routine, together with lots of games in my backlog, make gaming time a luxury resource at the moment. oh, how I miss having more free time...)

if I may, I'd like to mention this competition on my two twitter accounts (@ArtlessArty and @DigidealsEU), alright?

Probably a good call... growing up with the threat of nuclear armageddon turned me me into the fine, twitchy neurotic I am today. Definitely not a game that you want influencing your children! :P

Cor. Thank you. I'm looking forward to soaking up the radiation.

Since I've been lucky twice now, I'll sit out the next one. Unless it's really good, of course, in which case I'll sit out the one after that. Unless that one's really good, in which case...

Cheers folks!

Hope you enjoy this game - complex, but cool nonetheless.
