In honour of our review of the game: http://www.digitallydownloaded.net/2011/09...p-2011-psn.html Rugby is a deceptively global sport - it's actually the fourth biggest sporing event nowdays after the Olympics, Tour De france and FIFA World Cup in terms of numbers of watchers. So is anyone going to follow this year's World Cup? Go Japan (a very underrated team)! |

Fiji seems to have a pretty good team this year. Might be good for an upset or two. If I was playing though, I'd me most frightened of Russia. Sure they may lack of skills, but would you want to be hit by a big Russian dude? |

This contest is interesting to me, as I don't really know much about Rugby - which is a bad on me since my cousin was good enough that he once tried out for some sort of all-American or Olympic team (sadly, I can't even tell you what for exactly). That said, the review was very good, and the game looks solid as I like my sports games. Still, I can't offer up a good 'answer' to the question, as I know nothing about the teams and this game would turn into a learning experience for me if nothing else. So instead of picking a 'winner', I'm going to just pick on the guy in this picture from your post: http://screencast.com/t/eSPLSSA1B6I And simply say he is not going to win, since in that image he looks vastly outnumbered and probably will get squished soon.

I'm sitting this one out, but I'm rooting for Samoa. People covered in sharks-tooth-and-soot tattoos will always get my vote. I was too wussy to get one when I was out there. Blood poisoning FTL! |
