Hey everyone, can anyone give me a suggestion how to kill an Earth Serpent? This is in SP, so I should have plenty of time to get there. I’m playing EA Xilbaba, and playing against Oceana. The Snake isn’t doing much damage, since my Zotz hordes flee before taking heavy losses. He killed an Onaqui which sucks though. His Dominion is annoying (Death 1-2) though since a lot of the spaces have lower pop and blood hunts are turning dry. And fleeing mages can’t blood hunt lol. I took the Fire Mage as my pretender, so pitting God v God is out. Bless is F4D6, so not strong at all (this is pretty much a scales build). |

Lots of high damage attacks are what you need. Xibalba struggles a little with that natively, but try forging a few Gate Cleavers and giving them to flying commanders. Give them some warriors to tie up the Snake whilst they do the damage and it should go down pretty quick. Alternatively if you have the spells researched a lot of mages (10+) casting Disintegrate, Leech or Curse of the Frog Prince will eventually get one through its Magic Resistance. |

You could maybe Banefire/decay it to decrepitude (let this take place over the course of a long battle against chaff), and then strike at it with something tougher before it has a chance to recuperate most of its injuries. |
