GFSnl of Bogarus, you've taken a land in Fomoria's color, Hamane. Much too close for Fomoria's comfort, and I'd likewise see the taking of The Two Woods as the same. I'd appreciate if you would back away from these lands and allow Fomoria its proper buffer space.

Good point, and very much my bad :(

I had intended to get the OP completed with all the extra game info for you all before the game started, but a really busy week or so work wise left me with no time to get it done :( But I will hopefully get the OP sorted within the next hour or so :)

(victory conditions will likely be to capture and hold 6 capitals for 3 consecutive turns)

@ All

Ok, I've now sorted out the OP, plus added all the extra info you will need to know about the rules of this game in the post below the OP. Can I please kindly ask everyone to read this post at their first convenient moment. Here is a handy direct link.

http://z7.invisionfree.com/Dom3mods/index....dpost&p=1364358

I know it's a long read :( but you only have to do it once :) And please don't hesitate to ask anything regarding the rules that I might have missed out of either of these two posts.

Although I would just like to highlight one section of these posts, since I consider this very important for all the games I arrange and admin. (from the OP)

--------------

Important Notice to All Players

It goes without saying that I expect everyone to play and fight until the very last man in this game. (FYI, this is also the expected norm for all games on this forum, and counts double for any and all of my games). Which means no turning AI, or at least not until you literally have nothing left to fight back your enemies with.

So far almost all the players in my previous newbie games have been absolutely fantastic in this regard. And apart from the odd exception, I don't think I could ask for more of them on that front, as the new players in these games have put many vets to shame. Since the definition that some vets use to describe 'fighting until the last' is absolutely pathetic by all accounts. (indeed, for example just take a look at events in the DragonWars (this forum) and Troubling Times (on shrapnel) games, which saw established vets bail in a flood of excuses simply because they were attacked)

So please can I ask everyone who is playing in this game to do their very best to keep up this truly excellent trend shown by the new players on these forums. And please do keep putting those veterans to shame with your excellent levels of commitment and never surrender fighting spirit. As you don't want to be the one to let the side down by being known as the only new player that bailed in a hissy fit.

-----------------

Right, I think that's if for now. Time for me to return to the shadows :ph43r:

I get some problem with sending my file. Is llama server working properly for you?

Are you 100% sure you are sending in the correct .2h file? As this sort of error usually happens when a player sends in a turn from a test game by mistake.

Maybe try creating a new game folder for this turn, ask for a turn resend (and put it in this new game folder), then copy the .2h file you are sending into that folder as well, then load the game up and see if there is a "continue where I left" option" or not. If there isn't, then it's the wrong .2h file. If there is then.....hhhhhmmmm.

Please let me know if you still have problems after trying the above.

Whilst men of great virtue and valor were out expanding the Pythian Empire and ridding the world of barbarians unfit for civilized society, a menace loomed to cowardly take the rolling hills and dales of the Pythian people. Bravely did the one squad of Pythian militia fight, and take many a man with them they did due to their foes stupidity and oafishness. The "men," if such a name be for the rotgut swill to come from Bogarus' whores and wenches, cut down every last man woman and child of the fair and strong Pythian people of the Ferran Mountains. Cry out did they not for their assasins did not deserve the pleasure. Upon receiving the news of the attack I mobilized the army to prepare. Pythian swords were sharpened and shields were raised. We are ready for war.
To the recreant mob of profligates and their mountebank "god" of Bogarus I say to you this: We shall not hesitate, we shall not waiver in our resolve to bring upon you every doom imaginable and to end your oppressive stench in this world.
To all other people of the fair and noble nations of our great land: The full "might" of Bogarus is concentrated in this one futile act of war upon Pythium, join us in destroying his reign and great riches will be yours! (For very little effort.)

Is it just me, or is it only the new players who make long involved in-character posts? :P

This is in no way a criticism! :D

Don't worry, I'll do what I can as admin to beat some sense into them so that they toe the party line in future.

I don't know about the other newbies, but I bought this game after reading a few Let's Plays of this game, which has really given me a taste for the in-character.

Can I get a rollback to last turn (turn 14)? I was JUST about to send in my 2h file when turn 15 came in.

No I'm sorry SirMu, rollbacks are strictly for either preventing out-of-game events that stop the game from continuing (such as a corrupted/failed hosting), or, and only under very specific circumstances, to prevent an in-game event that has had an extremely negative effect on the overall game (such as a leading/critical nation(s) being turned AI without notification).

I'm sorry to hear that you staled, but I can not justify rolling the turn back just for that. If you staled due to a lack of time preventing you submitting your turn in time, then please don't hesitate to ask for a delay next time should the same scenario happen again (and please don't hesitate to ask if you even "think" you might need a delay. As it's better to be safe than sorry)

If you staled due to intentionally trying to submit a turn at the last minute, then please don't do this again in future, as those who play chicken with the deadline only ever have everything to lose, and nothing to gain. (Of course I am in no way suggesting this is what you did, but I do know some players who do regularly submit their turns at the last minute, even though they completed them long before the deadline, and for.... reasons I've never really understood  )

Can hosting be increased in every hour intervals? If so, I'd like a +2 hour increase in hosting time, please; I don't intentionally play chicken with the deadline, it just happens to come out like that, and I feel like a mere extra 2 hours would be a nice buffer.

P.S. That stale turn hurt like no other. Lost over half my army.
