*** EDIT: *** The game failed to start on llamaserver due to a mod conflict (probably the load order), so I have created a super-mod to use and new game on the llamaserver. Game link here: Malicious Mushrooms Version 2 Mod link here: Supermod for Malicious Mushrooms Version 2 As a consequence, we all need to redo our pretenders (using the new supermod) and send them in to the new game. *** Now ready to accept pretenders. Don't forget to switch on the mods listed (with download links) at the bottom of this thread. I'm keen to set up an MP test of GFSnl's Myconos mod (quite a lot of fun in SP - I highly recommend giving it go). And I'm also keen to take CBM 1.91 for a spin. This thread bring these two things together. It is an 8-12 player MA game with the following rules: The game summary is as follows: * Middle Age * CBM 1.92 * Compatible mod nations allowed - Myconos is in - Hexapodia is in - Die Hoburg Allianz is in * Map is Shadowshore * Win by holding more than half the capitals for three turns * Hall of Fame size 15 * Defaults unless specified otherwise. Other random notes follow. I have stolen many of them from other more senior forum members (e.g. Calahan), so kudos and thanks where appropriate. Hosting: Hosting will be done via llamaserver. Once we have enough people, I'll create the game. The initial interval will be 24 hours. We can up it when needed. Extensions: Granted on request. Please PM me with the request, as my emails pop up on my smartphone and get my attention straight away. Note that I am in Australia, and will miss requests when I am asleep. Diplomacy and Trades: The inviolability or otherwise of NAPs is up to individual players. At the end of the day, this is a win at all costs game, so it is perhaps not surprising that sometimes backstabs occur. The exception to this is that trade agreements such as a gem / item swap / purchase / province trades, are a totally different type of agreement to NAP's. You are expected to honour any and all trade agreements that you make. Please don’t be a douche bag. Banned Exploits: All of them, in particular the following 1. Copying the script orders from Bogus and his friends to others commanders (ie. The 'Fire Commanders' orders). 2. Overloading other players labs by sending them lots of items they did not request. Be they worthless or valuable. 3. Being a general douche bag is not allowed in this game. If you need to leave in mid-game for whatever reason, please let me know. The current player / nation list is as follows: JimboJones1971: Myconos CthulhuDreams: Ashdod GFSnl: Agartha Stagger Lee: Hexapodia Admiral Aorta: R'lyeh ghoul31: Pangea Corinthia: Ulm Tzarin: Shinuyama Happerry: Jotunheim Zerf: Mictlan fantomen: hoburg *** MODS *** I've created a single supermod for the game, the link can be found here: Supermod for Malicious Mushrooms Version 2 |

I've added Cthulhu Dreams as Mictlan, so he can prove whether he really is more man than mouth once and for all. Edit: It turns out Cthulhu Dreams now has a complex about Mictlan, so he's asked for Ashdod instead. So Mictlan is now available! |

That is a good idea. I will be interested to hear how Agartha has changed under 1.9. |

If there is a mod compatible version of MA Hexapoda, I would like to try them in this game. |

Bugs vs Mushrooms? I like it! Pretty sure we can make one, by remapping the IDs. There is a spreadsheet in the mod compatibility thread where GFSnl has already done the mighty mushrooms, when I get a moment I'll see if I can work out how to add the Hexapods into it so that for the purposes of this game we are compatible and ready to roll. (I was a programmer for years before I became an empty suit, so in theory at least I should be up to this task!) Sounds like there is a small bug with one of the IDs in the mod too, which causes a crash when a particular unit is used. If we are creating a version of the mod with remapped IDs for this game, no reason why we can't also tweak that at the same time :-) |

My understanding was that was a problem with LA Hex... I will of course test under cbm 1.91 for a while, and report any problems.

Yeah, right you are - its the roach knights for LA. By all means give it a bit of a play under CBM 1.91 MA though. I have to say, it is a very pretty mod - although not as pretty as my Mushroom Queen, of course! ;-) |

Suddenly a troll appeared in the laboratory!

I'd like to play R'lyeh, it might be interesting to see how big the underwater changes in 1.9 are. |

No need to be so long-winded about it! A simple "Pan" would suffice, you know. |

I'm throwing my name in to the hat and the hat into the ring as the new and improved MA Ulm. Just a though though. Have you set any special startingpositions on the map? or atleast set some places as nostarts. Because there are some absolutely awful provinces on this map. The isle of balor stands out in particular. and there are several others that only have one or two connections. |

Putting some no-start areas on is a good idea, lets do that. Ideally I guess we'd find someone to volunteer to place the starting positions so none of us (me included) know what they are. Let me ponder this. :-) Also - up to 8, so we'll leave it another day or so and then get things rolling. |
