Oh that bug. Yeah that was 'fixed' at one point. I guess the fix didn't work. I should probably remove the assassin ability from the kyuuketsuki in that case. |

Hrm, Diceman, have any of your troops been mysteriously disappearing? I've noticed especially after me casting Infected Swarm that small armies of skin shifters just no longer exist even though to my knowledge none killed them. |

Hexapoda is a beaut to play. I liked having an A4D4W4F4 god...I think getting D9 or good N magic would've served me better(mmm, death weapons) and I think things will really change with mass roach summons. PD is decent at low values and awesome at about 30. You get roach riders which can really tank some hits. Morale is a huge problem for the roach riders, but you can mitigate this by mixing in some of the high-morale sacreds. You don't get access to any real SCs with your national paths--reliably you can only get A3D3S3N2E2F1, and not in the nice combinations you'd like. Your E2 can't use boots(or move!) so all you can do with them is remote site search and make boots for E1 casters to get them to E2 for battle buffs. In general getting the right boosters to actually do anything is really frustrating. I got a bunch of late game stuff from my pretender, but having all my diversity/booster forging on my pretender made me way more cautious using her in battle--it might've been better to go asleep with the other national pretender. Especially higher nature would allow more leverage with the N2 casters you can recruit. I didn't use Bane Lords as thugs, which was a mistake--that would've helped a lot. I just couldn't justify getting a Bane Lord instead of a stealthy flying ethereal S2D1 caster(or half an S3D3 caster!) |

Am I to interpret this sort of commentary as an indication that we are ending the game? I'm perfectly willing to put up w/a delay while happerry is gone, but I won't keep it going if you guys don't want to. While I hazard a guess that I could make a legitimate bid for victory, or at least a substantially stronger position, it would probably result in the game lasting another 20+ turns. |
