But... I SHOWER!
|
Pfft. Considering that I started subbing for R'lyeh like a bit over 10 turns ago at most, I wouldn't know of any 30 turn long things. And that's just how it tends to work; if a nation is winning and you start a war with it, you don't just quit it half way through. Unless you had been willing to stop fighting everyone else except Vanheim, I don't see how any other outcome could've been possible. What you could've done is... Fought with the nation you considered the biggest threat the most, rather than the weaklings who were nibbling at your back. But instead, you fought the smaller ones and allowed Vanheim take over a big part of your lands. Just commenting on something once and then ignoring the threat yourself doesn't really give you much leverage when it comes to these kinds of things. You have no high ground here. Taking you out allows all the others who you were fighting instead of Vanheim a chance to regroup and do what they see fit. In fact, I bet, in a couple of turns, you would've lost Niefelheim without a fight to Vanheim, if I hadn't besieged it first. -- Oh right, and could we put a sort of holiday hosting thing on, just in case you find a person to sub for Aby? While I bet I can send in turns during the weekend, I'd, um, rather not. ;P |

Welcome, arcanist. Send me your E-mial, and I'll set you as the new player for Abysia. And I've just known about the Easter (since there's no such a holiday in my country). I'll Postpone the host automatically. Enjoy your holiday and don't worry about a stale. |

@ arcanist: For communication, post here, send PM to the one you want to communicate with, or send message ingame. There isn't IRC. For diplomacy, Abysia seemed to be in war with Nief previously. Since Vanheim is by far the strongest nation at the moment(large territory, three global enchantment, high gem income), you'd better at least try to weaken it, or van will easily become the winner. |

FYI there is in fact an IRC channel, irc.gamesurge.net #dominions However this is a channel for Dom3 in general, not for this game in particular. |

We, proud sons of Smoldercone, declare war to all ponyriders. This ponies smell bad and it looks like we could use then as barbecue. Lets end this pony infestation - The armies of vanheim must fall and it virgins will perform "special" physical tasks for our warlocks. |

Okay, so I was right. Nief was the reason "the win" was being "given" to Vanheim. Now that Nief's gone, everyone but me is at war with Vanheim. Sure sounds like people giving the win to Trumanator without a fight. ;P
