The great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto is delighted by this opportunity to study the economics of death, especially economics of death by electrocution and/or katanas. This delightful event will also let the great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto study how a positive supply shock in ham will affect the Okamikenian economy. As a side note the great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto would like to inform whoever-it-was that Okamiken has the claim for the Swamp of Ethereal Alligators first, and retook it since it is essentially required for econometric studies on the demand elasticities of ethereal alligator skin boots. The great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto does, however, believe that these current southern borders seem to be pareto efficient and thus should not be changed. |

I am prepared to concede that it may have been a mistake to base my nations entire culture and society around pigs. Oh well, in for a penny, in for a pound. Death to the bacon munchers! |

It is with great sadness and horror that Abobele must announce to the world the discovery of an automated death camp in the Banded Hills, run by disciples of the Okamikenian pretender Vilfredo Pareto himself. The "Pareto Salami Products" death camp contained had a pen capable of holding some 2000 Abobelian porcine citizens, and an electric production line featuring dismemberment by katanas capable of turning some 100 piggies an hour into various types of spiced sausage. Will the horror never stop! Think of the children! After freeing the surviving curly tailed inmates, we had no choice but the feed the Tengu camp guards into the machine, despite their bleating about union rules and such. Careful analysis has revealed that the resultant salami is actually rather tasty, although best served with dry white wine. We are considering marketing these small goods under the slogan "Tengu, the other white meat." |

Hi guys, I am going away for 3 days. My capital is gone and I have little or no troops left apart from PD. Rather than delay the game I am going AI. I have created all the PD I can in mt last 3 provinces thus not much I can do the AI can't. Doubt I would last 2 more turns anyway. I would normally play it out, but I see no point in delaying the game on this account. Cheers for the game. |

The great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto has issued a statement from the Citadel of Forbidden Runes located in the great City of Brass, the capital of Okamiken. He states how the hateful Abobeleans slaughter their own kin just to try to make him look bad. He, however, is delighted by the notion that this can merely be seen as a confirmation for the assumption of consumer rationality, because in the end who wouldn't do such horrifying and desparate acts when faced with the might of the econometric research of the great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto. The great god-economist Vilfredo Pareto wishes pareto efficiency to all the nations of the world. --- Also, HooleyDooley, sounds like a completely rational thing to do. |

The mobility that the Tengu have, together with their fairly nice combat abilities, makes it difficult to defeat them. I am not so worried about the lighting though. I don't think that has been a deciding factor in my battles to date. EDIT: I'm not necessarily arguing that the Tengu are overpowered. More searching for an excuse to justify my ineptitude, I suspect. Curse you subconcious! |

They definitely are overpowered with the lightning in general. My ineptitude prevents me from making the best use out of them - I'm more of a modder than a player really

Yeah, having a lightning attack and good close combat weapons on flyiers is insane :D. |
