Elmo - this is awesome! The only problem is its a little too small ![]() A good duel map needs a minimum distance from cap to cap of 7 squares I think. If I fix the start positions to be the maximum distance from eachother sailing will let someone jump to the other cap at like turn 2! I know its a super dickhead request to make - but would it be possible at all to have a map with 3-4 fixed starts all of which have a distance of ~7 squares from eachother at worst case? |

I could just make the sailable sea split like the other ones. Otherwise I may or may not make maps at some point. |

Not sure what you mean exactly, my only real concern is that if the caps are on the edges of the main land mass (~7 squares from cap to cap, multiple avenues which is good) - then flight will let you land in the other cap potentially on turn 2 or sailing on turn 3. Maybe if the sea is just 3 squares wide so that you can't fly/sail across at all? Anyway, again I really appreciate it, thanks Elmo! Your maps are the best, I've actually played a couple decent ones on pareto. |

You can sail from inside a water province. For sailing to skip a province you only need to end at a land province, not start at one. |

[Maerlande] Because it was a smart idea. Soyweiser was right. The irc channel: #Dominions on irc.gamesurge.net | |

Well, there's also one drastic but totally viable solution. Make it not wrap around horizontally (technically impossible, but I can just draw a black bar and remove all province connections that pass the image horizontally) |

Hoping you don't mind the thread necromancy, but playing the Dominions 4 version of this recently (it's a cool map!) I realized provinces #8 and #34 likely should be forests - but they are not. Or at least, they COULD be, as forests/trees take a very significant part of their image. |
