Can a F1 mage use a fire gem to cast phoenix power? |

Yes, because Phoenix Power only requires F2, no gems. So 1 gem to power up in order to cast PP for a permanent (for the duration of the battle) power-up. Which means F1 mages with a Fire in a Jar will have no problem slinging fireballs. |

Is a sitesearching rainbow catching a disease from a hidden site a guaranteed 10 turn death without a healer unit? |

Yes, unless your rainbow is lifeless or undead. |

...You know, I've been trying them out, and I don't see exactly what makes them viable. Do they need some kind of support in order to be good? On another note, if I cast cast 'Growing Fury' twice, will my entire army go berserk? |

Does a B9 bless cross over with secondshape units? If it does it seems like it would be a real pain to be on the recieving end of. |

Hi everyone, I'm new to Dominion (I come from the steam wave). Enjoying it immensely so far. When I become less noob, I'd be interested in a disciple game with vets as pretenders and newbs as disciples, heard about that in another thread and it sounds like heaps of fun and very educational. Now onto the actual question: I kept my biggest stack of researching mages on a "spreads disease" magic site. Of course I wasn't aware of that until I discovered the site. I felt like my mages were catching the flu way too often for my liking. My question is: Does the "spreads disease" takes effect even though you didn't discover the site yet? Or am I paranoid? |

Negative sites effects happen even when the site is not discovered. So in this case, even if you're paranoid, you're right. The mages get diseased before you know of the site. It's always a pain to have to abandon these forts because you catch diseases inside, but it can be fun to have an enemy besiege them. |

One game I had my awake SC commander get diseased from such a site on turn 2. No healers, no prospect of healing him. If that had been an MP game I would have been apopleptic. |

How do i deal with the octopus heads that make my people insane? My pretender became insane just by standing in one of their provinces, how do i cure insanity? I find it ridiculous that you can actually cause a pretender to become insane if its not possible to remove it can it be modded out? |

I know of no cure for insanity. Just kill all the squids. R'lyeh is evil. You should try to push your own dominion so theirs doesn't pollute you. If you wait for long enough, they will all die by tehmselves. Except for the Things they will have summoned in the meantime, that is. |

The insanity will start off fairly low, so it should be at least somewhat manageable. |
