That should be true for disciples, but from what you say all nation in a team should be able to call the main god simultaneously, right?
This sentence is a logical fallacy.

Is it just me or do a lot of the nations feel homogenized to some degree? Everyone seems to have a more viable sacred, for instance.

What do you mean by homogenized? The only nations that seems really similar are the -heims throughout the ages.
What the fuck did you just fucking say about me, you little bitch? I’ll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy Seals, and I’ve been involved in secret raids on Al-Quaeda, and I have over 300 confirmed kills. I am trained in gorilla warfare and I’m the top sniper in the entire US armed forces. You are nothing to me but just another target. I will wipe you out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this Earth, mark my words. You think you can get away with saying shit to me over the Internet? Think again, fucker. As we speak I am contacting my network of spies across the USA and your IP is being traced right now so you better prepare for the storm, maggot. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your life. You’re fucking dead, kid. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can kill you in over seven hundred ways, and that’s just with my bare hands. Not only am I extensively trained in unarmed combat, but I have access to the entire arsenal of the United States Marine Corps and I will use it to its full extent to wipe your ass off the face of the continent, you little shit. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little “clever” comment was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your tongue. You didn’t, and now you’re paying the price, you goddamn idiot. I will shit all over you and you will drown in it. You’re fucking dead, kiddo.

Maybe I spoke too soon and too generally, but it does seem that all nations were given more viable sacreds, and the stats on the sacreds are not as extreme, so a bless strategy is not as exclusive as it once was.

It's just you.

I ALWAYS want to say that in response to that phrase. The problem with that phrase "Is it just me..." is that it implies agreement. So far, I would not agree.

Not really. Plenty of nations had token sacreds anyway, but not really enough of them to build a bless strategy around. As far as I can tell most of those nations are still like that. What nations in particular do you think would suit a bless strategy now?

Does anyone know what causes the profuse bleeding effect? It seems to appear on units occasionally during normal combat.

iirc it's just something that can be caused by damage - it's a temporary affliction.

I don't know what you're referring to. Can you give a single example?

Yeah what is it that gives you this impression?

Marignon gets many, many more flagellants, so that is in favour of your theory, but is just one nation.

I guess MA c'tis gets those alligator guys, but I don't think you'd take a major bless just for them.

I would guess pierce or slash weapons.

Oh yeah. Brain fart there. Disciples can only be called back by two nations, gods by as many as are on the team.

The two that were just mentioned and also all the colossi sacreds. I think it set off an alarm for me cuz I was playing as Berytos and facing Machaka and Ur. They are pretty uniform units, and then I checked out the crocs of C'tis and saw another almost identical stat line.

Other sacreds seem to have been either mildly toned down or mildly buffed. Still a lot of diversity but I think some effort was put into making a sacred strategy more viable for more than the few clear 'bless' nations.

To test site distribution, I have began an EA game with 40 provinces and no indep. I am site searching each province with a mage with 4 in each path and a priest with H4.

On the first 14 provinces, I have found 33 sites, or 2.35 site, ranging from 0 to 5 per province.

It's a bit above what I would have expected in dom3, but 14 province ain't enough for a true statistic test yet.

Edit : I have finished searching all 38 provinces. 78 sites found, or ~2 per province on average.

9 fire
9 Air
6 Water
12 Earth
13 Astral
13 Death
11 Nature
1 Blood (level 0 to boot)
4 Holy

In addition to that, 2 sites created by event (1 fire, 1 nature)

It seem that searching for blood site is still useless. Holy is between one third and one half less common than the rest, everything else seem equally commun. I believe "only" 6 water site is a randiom fluke.

38 province is not enough for definitive conclusion, but it look like the site distribution was not changed. I am not even sure you can have more than 4 sites without special event.
