Leech and life for a life are the ultimate answer to almost all SCs. The only counter to these spells is being lifeless, for example golems.

naturism (15 gem cost of all items or less) could work too.

Can Anthrax stack fireshield on top of his banefire shield?

they're different effects, i seem to recall that he can have both at once. easily tested of course with the debug mod.

Just wondering, If you send a death 2 mage to attack a province pd and summon lammashtas and then set the mage to retreat. If the lammashtas manage to win do you get the province?

I believe Lammashtas are classified as "Independent Monsters" (evidenced by the line "They do not serve the caster" in the spell description).

If that's the case, if the Lammashta attacked the province (and won), they province would be under no player's control, and whomever moved their troops there first would gain the province.

I have posted a request in the Steam manual thread, asking for the mechanics on the water-land dominion barrier (introduced in 4.20) to be explained, but I'm not too hopeful it will happen (at least soon).

So does anyone here have any idea how it works?
My attempts at trying to guess with the debug long weren't too helpful, sadly - the info you get on dominion checks isn't very detailed.

One of the thrones gives a bonus to "dominion conflict".

It seems likely that a dominion check crossing a land/water interface receives a dominion conflict malus. It seems relatively minor. So I'm guessing 1-2.

I played around with a similar strategy using horrors in Dom 3 / Bogarus, moving a scout into the territory to take it after.

The pendant of eyes magic item that makes lamashti attack you less frequently might make this more viable.

Unfortuntely, the lamashti tactic doesn't (necessarily) rely on magic-phase movement.

Is this true? I'm assuming you're talking about the Eye Pendant, but all it says is that it is protection against "Labashtu, the disease demon" not Lamashta, and the disease protection part is covered in the disease healer trait.

The Eye Pendant does not protect against lammashtas. It allows the wielder to Heal Disease and doubles the number of bodyguards available to them (from 5 to 10).

I have a few questions about Blood Vangeance and MR.

A friend told me that there is a cap at 20 MR when it comes to MR cheks, everything above will only negate Pen bonus. is that confirmed?

Does anyone know how the the MR check numbers on defending a blood vengeance MR test? Is it a 10+DRN against the defender MR (capped at 20?) + DRN.
If the capp would be factored in here, it seems almost impossible to use evocations on a bigger scale.

So iam fighting a Lanka B9N9 bless as EA Arco. You guys have anny suggestions on how to take that on best?
i have researched everything to lvl4-5 atm

tnx for any advice

There isn't a cap on MR. The bless from having high Astral on your Pretender gives bonus MR, however this can't take you above 20. That might be what they are thinking of.

As Arco try massed Stellar Cascades - I don't think Blood Vengeance reflects Stun damage. Alternatively cast Antimagic and try to tough it out?
