Not usually no. the live server needs to archive previous turns (command line options give you the ability to use pre and post batch files). Theoretically I suppose if you had software that snapshotted the changes to your drive you could roll back. |

Okay, this is gonna sound like a really fucking weird question, but is there any way to track down a specific commander? I've spent an hour looking for a commander with some very important gear and I can't find the fucker. No, I know he's not dead cause the gear would be available to forge again. I also can't see shit in the nation overview and I strongly suspect nation overview has some sort of limit cause I can't find plenty other stuff in it too. |

Tab in the nation overview will remove researchers - but theres a way to make it apply to other filters too, iirc. So I'm guessing a filters applied...something like alt shift to restrict to magic path. |

A general question about Innate spellcaster, ie mod command #bonusspells: I understand how it works, technically. Can you make it work though? I remember testing it in the early versions of the game, and found it very hard to use tactically, and seemed to burn the mage out far too quickly. Has anyone managed to use the ability well? What is the consensus on it? Is it a drawback or a bonus? In communions I remember that it seemed to burn out the slaves, and outside of a communion the mage seemed to make bad choices on spells to use. |

I guess I was hoping that the spell casting AI miraculously been improved, or that the mechanics of innate spell caster had been changed somehow (been away from the game a long while). |

If a guy has trample, but also has (a) weapon(s), do the weapons only get used against samesize-larger targets? I'm also curious if the trampler has a use of his weapon per round in addition to the trample against smaller.

Trampling is weird. It seems to ignore common sense and offends my sensibilities every time I field a thug. The trampling mechanic disregards some of on-hit effects like fire shield and repel mechanic (elephants, trampling a wall of pikes?!). I hate trampling as it is currently implemented in Dominions. End rant. As for your question: tramplers cannot - absolutely! - use weapons against smaller targets. Normally a scary multiweaponed creature like doom horror Rarku kills any given target in a single round of combat, but if it somehow gains the trampling ability,.. well, you better not do this. |

I have more question. Strength of Giants (Enchantment E3), if cast on a literal giant: does it do anything? Is it a "set STR to X" spell or "increase STR by X" spell? EDIT: I did a test, it's +4 STR regardless of base value (at least for values of 15 and 22). |
