ooc- apologizes for my being kind of stupid >>

It was raining, or it had been. The clouds were still quite thick in the sky and the sun was not yet peeking through. A slightly heavy mist off the sea from the rainfall glided across the higher reaches, but the young man did not notice it. He stood sheltered beneath the huge wings of a bloody rust dragon. He was glad that the creature was taller than him; Fleneith's span was grand enough to keep the drops from falling on him. Yet it was a bit pointless as the sky no longer carried enough water.

The copperred heaved a great yawn as he let his limbs collapse beneath him in a controlled manner to rest on the chilly sand and stone. S'ran eyed his companion, noting the blue eyes beneath half closed lids. The brunette rubbed at the behemoth's neck, patting him with a light smile as he watched the cold waves crash before them with a roar. It was loud here, but it was more peaceful than the bustling Weyr at this time of day. Better out in the spring chill than inside the far too hot dining hall with far too many people coming by for lunch.

Gold Rider Alessia

The Weyrwoman felt trapped.

She might have been at her post for not quite half a Turn now, but that made it no easier to answer questions that she either had no control over the answer or plain had no clue how to answer. Everyone wanted something, even if it were just a casual conversation whereby they hoped to glean some little piece of information their friends did not have. The most usual topic of 'discussion' was whether there was anyone with whom she was taken. This topic spread most widely through the inhabitants, from the lowliest drudge to the wingseconds, though these would never let on that they were interested.

The woman wanted to throw them all out into the sea.

Rising from her half-eaten lunch that she could have eaten in her rooms but chose instead to eat in the cafeteria, Alessia removed herself from some other, more petty, topic that was being debated that the involved persons were wanting to bring to her. Trying to keep her voice light, she called over her shoulder, Come on now, guys, you know I don't participate in those discussions! They left her be long enough to get to Mnemaleth, who took her almost directly to near the place where S'ran and Fleneith were lounging. The Weyrwoman shook out her hair, sat near the copperred rider, and leaned back on her hands and addressed him. Fine day out, isn't it, S'ren. The name was provided by her own dragon, who learned names far easier than did she.

((I will edit this when I'm not falling asleep))

Someone is coming, said the large dragon, lazily lifting a heavy head and looking at his rider's gray eyes with his huge, currently, green one. Gaze not straying from the water, S'ren asked, almost tartly, And who is it?. It was a simple enough question, but Fleneith let off a warble, slowly rising his wedge shaped head further toward the sky. I think it's someone important. There was an amused lilt to the big creatures tone, as though he were amused by some kind of joke only he was involved in. Even the yawn that followed this brief exchange seemed more forced for show.

Naturally, this important person seemed to have made a beeline for him, having landed on the shore on her own mighty, golden, dragon. So the Weyrwoman presented herself, rather oddly. Shouldn't she have been back in the Weyr, doing all those things the Weyrwoman was supposed to be doing? Almost raising an eyebrow at her, S'ren nodded back at her greeting. "Afternoon, Weyrwoman," he greeted, gray-green eyes shifting in her direction. "Yes it is. Better enjoyed out here than inside." The copperred shook his body a bit, pointedly looking at the gold dragon, clearly greeting her as well. Ask her what she- he began, almost nonchalantly, though the rider interjected, Fleneith. "What brings you out of our lovely Weyr?"
