*casts Anima´s Oblivion at Frosty for killing us all with The End*
Hey, hey, point blame where it's due. Selphie killed us all with The End. I was the one who resurrected poor helpless mortals and the site in general for that brief, tragic moment. I'm the hero of this piece, a certain train-worshiping, hair-physics-defying, sugar-high nunchaku-wielder is the real villain here.

*tosses Kekso a rocket launcher* You know what to do :D

Dear The Law(TM): I totally do not sanction blowing certain fictional characters to smithereens with a rocket launcher, even if that would probably be her ideal death scenario considering her disturbing fascination with them (they should have given her a rocket launcher rather than those nunchaku, imo). Even if I find her annoying and prefer pretty much every other character in the game barring perhaps Irvine over her. Ironically, besides Adel, and maybe Squall and Zell, she is also the character I find myself referring to most often. It's ok, I'm not quite sure why I manage to somehow deify that manly giant that is Adel, nor allow Selphie to be her rocket-launcher-wielding self, but I'll probably go seek medical help for those issues eventually. No worries. Until then, just ignore any violence alluded to regarding Selphie, since, hey, she's not real, and if anyone actually succeeds in blowing up a fictional character, I will totally die of shock, which is punishment enough.

tl; dr: I take no blame in this. It's Selphie's fault, blame her. ...and she's a fictional character, so blowing her up with a rocket launcher is not only awesome, but poetic justice or something. Also, Adel is beautifully statuesque, not a scary manly giant. Hear the Good Word of Adel and be saved! :D

Have you ever played X-2?

If you haven't, and you own/plan to buy it, do try it...it's better than most people complain it is, and if you ignore the surprise personality lobotomy Yuna (and, to a lesser extent since she was always a bit weird, Rikku) got, it is interest. Story's good, and the job-sphere system is ok, if I remember correctly. Plus the fact that it's pretty non-linear means you can either visit every city in each chapter and do whatever you want, OR just do whatever cities are necessary to continue on, so you can play for like, 20-40 hours or upwards of 100, if you want. Just realize that, unfortunately, choosing to side with Baralai means you can't ever get 100% in one playthrough x__X

If you have played it, and know what it's like, then I suppose it's up to you if you wanna replay it or not, since you know more-or-less what's involved.

In any case, since you're that-kind-of-male, you'll probably enjoy the "massage" scene between Yuna and LaBlanc, as well as the notorious "hot springs" scenes as well. Sooo...feel free to fanboy away, in that case, since ultimately that was what the sequel was made for o____O

I just attempted the Labyrinth in Duodecim this morning. If anyone played the original Dissidia, it's like the Duel Colosseum on steriods---overall better and more intriguing that the original DC, but with one glaring drawback---you lose any single battle (with all your current party), and you get booted out. Oh, and you don't get to bring any equipment/items/accessories/summons in with you, and the only ones you can take out can are marked with a "cave" icon beside them, are unique to the Labyrinth, and can only be taken out if you accomplish a "goal" (by exiting the Labyrinth through a special door that acts as a "Cottage") or by finding a Geomancer job-card then using the "exit" icon to "pitch a tent" while the effect is still in place.

If you get KO'd, you're booted out, lose all your items/summons/accessories/progress in general, and have to start out again at whatever starting point(s) you've unlocked. If you used a tent/Exit or Cottage/Goal, you can choose to bring back any cave items with you (although you'll lose them permanently if you get KO'd before you can cottage/Geomancer+Exit out), and you'll find your Tent, with all items from your previous play-through, at the room you were in when you exited. If you pitched a cottage instead, I think where that cottage is is random---you'll gain back all your items as long as you enter whatever room that happens to be.

Needless to say, the Labyrinth is a b!tch, I got KO'd on my first two playthroughs since the enemies I ended up fighting were level 110+ with actual decent equips, while I was using characters with barely-passable level 1esque equipment, and getting brave breaked->HP attacked->repeat until dead'd, which is annoying. Plus the random party members I found of course tended to be the party members I rarely ever use (Kain, Laguna, Ultimecia and Garland in playthrough 1, and I think just Cloud of Darkness in playthrough 2), so yeah. Annoying.

The third and fourth times I started back at the "Cloister of Beginnings" or something and just followed that through the five "Beginnings" floors, which end in a "Goal" icon plus two random level 1 Cave-type items, so my fifth playthrough, I should, hopefully, be able to continue with all my items being I manage to find my Cottage and whatnot. Not that the items I had were as nice as those I had in the first playthroughs (I miss my summonstones and the decent equipment I got :( ), but it's better than nothing x___X

But yes. I am getting aggravated by just item-farming using the Quick Battle/Ghost card battles to get items I still need (specifically since there aren't that many left), and without the strategy guide, I haven't wanted to attempt Scenario 000, Labyrinth, or even Scenario 012. But I'm bored now, so I'll probably do Scenario 012, if only for the unique items I'll likely get through it, and then hopefully by the time I finish that I'll have the official guide, and can then try Scenario 000 and the Labyrinth a bit more awesome-like.

Anyway, blah. Must call back manager person for potential job interview. Le sigh. -_-

...tl;dr: Labyrinth on Duodecim is annoying, but probably better than Duel Colosseum, if way harder to manage. Also, play FF10-2, cuz, hey, why not? Reason: massage+b00bs+Spira's Angels=fanboy wetdream. That is all.
