what's a king to a god?
what's a god to a non-believer who don't believe in anything?

Definition of Music:
Sound and silence organized in time.

Case Study:
"No church in the Wild" by Kanye West and Jay-Z, feat Frank Ocean
The song is in the key of Eb minor, no modulation, and remains strictly in 4/4 meter.
There's a synthesized drum pattern with quarter notes on one, two, and four with a double-sixteenth bridging the second and third beat in every measure.
A bass guitar riffing in sixteenth notes helps keep time in rhythm, tempo, and pacing.
The treble is made up of synthesized organ chords and strings in addition to vocals.

Conclusion:
There is sound. There is silence. They are organized in time. So it's music.

Relevance and Application:
It may not be the kind of music you like, but it is music.
I don't like Justin Beiber as a person and I do not like his songs, but they are made up of sound and silence organized in time. So his songs are still music.

Digression:
I also really don't like the score from Thor 2 even though I love Brian Tyler as a composer.
I think he relied too much on cadences in the lower brass and not enough on timpani and percussion,
which was what made his Iron Man 3 score so brilliant.

Recapitulation:
But even though I didn't like it, it's still music because it's sound and silence organized in time.

Personal Note:
You can tell me I need to be educated in music when you've done a full instrumental analysis of Bach's Suite No. 1 in G Major. The ENTIRE suite. Not just the first movement. Anyone with half a brain can analyze the first movement.

N.B.:
Now that's what I call music.

Oohhhh I didn't know you were joking! I'm glad to know that. I thought you were actually telling me not to spam lyrics in the spam thread. In that case!
